"We had a warm welcome and my meal was taken off the bill which was fair but it was quite the nice lunch I had hoped for! I ordered sirloin steak medium with an extra portbello mushoom. The steak had a lot of fat and gristle which I cut off. It turned out to be well done but so tough it was hard to chew. The waitress came to ask how the the food was and offered to change to steak and I accepted. She brought back a new steak quite quickly but it was actually bleeding on the plate. Part of the underside was still red on the outside. After that we were ignored for a long time (otherwise I would have asked for the steak to be cooked). Eventually the barman came over and I showed him the steak and he took it off the bill. I think that they must be having some problems in the kitchen?"

Nice place and accommodating team. My beef stew was not freshly cooked felt days old cooked food. My partner's food was OK. Kid's menu meal was OK, although sausages quality was at the low end. Food definitely needs some attention

The atmosphere at this restaurant was fantastic. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there and will definitely be visiting again. The main menu had limited options, but we were able to choose our preferred dishes.

We were here twice on the Easter bank holiday weekend. On Saturday the place was quite busy but service and food were outstanding our server, a lovely waitress who was struggling with some leftover balloons deserves a special mention . On Sunday evening it was quieter but food and service still good. Their signature burger is great!
