"We visited this cafe for breakfast because it was open, as opposed to a nearby competitor which wasn't. It was fairly busy but we did get a table. I went with scrambled eggs while my wife went with a croissant. The scrambled eggs, when they arrived, was just a pile of eggs on two stacked pieces of toast. Nothing fancy but they were perfect. The toast was toasted and the eggs on the slightly underdone side which is how they should be. The only negative was my wife's croissant which looked as though it had been cooked just a tad too long when it was made. Very crunchy but she said it was ok. It was warmed, which was good. Worth a visit."

The food here is all home made and fresh. Definitely recommend the salads and falafel. Yum.

This café is a delightful spot located in a bustling market town that faces stiff competition.

A lovely cosy welcoming cafe for a coffee on a rainy day. We found the staff friendly, helpful and happy. A great welcome to Marlborough.

We drove to this cafe from Swindon and they were extremely helpful. The food was delicious and made to order, and we appreciated the option to get a refill for just £1. It's also a charming family-owned cafe.

My husband’s full English breakfast looked great although the bacon did seem a bit on the overdone side. I had the eggs Benedict which was lovely. The coffee was delicious too. Nice friendly dining area, staff very welcoming and very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely return.

The restaurant is very friendly and laid-back. The service is efficient and polite, and the food is of excellent quality. I especially enjoyed the sausage and bacon in the full English breakfast. The coffee was fantastic, and the option for a £1 refill was a nice touch. I will definitely be returning and would recommend it to a friend.

I had lunch at this cafe. It's a lovely cafe, with friendly staff good service. The coffee is good, you can get refills for £1 if you're sitting in, which is good. However, I was disappointed with my meal. I had the prawn jacket. The potato was very small came with about 8 large prawns. It cost £9, which I felt was poor value for money. It was tasty but it wasn't filling, so I left hungry. Please could we have bigger potatoes?

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."

"We had a tremendously good lunch here today-the food was quite delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful-I’d say it’s probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in quite some time….so to give you a clue we both had the pork-this sounded really lovely and we were not disappointed-pork belly, tenderloin,a faggot and a ham hock croquet with mashed potato and roasted cauliflower with a delicious jus and a slice of pickled apple( which I ate immediately with a piece of pork and when the waiter came to ask how our lunch was I asked if he could possibly get me another piece-which he did For dessert we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which came with a passion fruit sorbet and some chocolate soil…..the focaccia we had at the start of the meal was superb and the coffee was also excellent -we do enjoy both cooking and eating-one of life’s pleasures and it’s abundantly clear the chef absolutely loves food too-a great display of cooking books from the greats sort of got me thinking it would be a good lunch…….also worth noting the drinks menu-some lovely wines, soft drinks and cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I finished off with a mocha which was hot chocolatey but not too sweet. Bradford on Avon is most definitely worth a visit and I’d say you would be foolish to miss out on a great experience if you didn’t also pop in to the bunch of grapes for some sustenance while there… Thanks for lunch and as Arnie says “ we’ll be back”….."
