Wonderful pub Wonderful atmosphere the best entertainment and the best food

Lovely place, great atmosphere, friendly staff, food was top quality and plenty of it.

I live a few doors away and don't visit enough! Always lovely food and very helpful, friendly staff. Loads of live music too, which is always great. I would highly recommend.

Food was good, the waitress was a pleasure to deal with, always a smile. Sat out in the sunshine enjoyed a nice meal an a drink. Had good company what more could you want in an afternoon

Stopped in for lunch after walking out of another local establishment. Hadn't been here for a long time well definitely return. Lovely food and great service. Children cleared their plates!!!

Staff were a delight and the setting was actually quite nice but we were there for dinner with the kids on Sunday and the food was poor and there was no real kids menu (just smaller versions of the roast). So 2 star experience for us but it probably would have been different if we were just coming for drinks.

A lovely country pub. We went on Saturday afternoon and had a very nice meal. The beer was good and kept well with a decent selection. There was a decent menu but not too large. All the food we had tasted fresh. I had the ham eggs and chips, plenty of ham and really good chunky chips. My wife had the chicken Caesar salad which was very good and a decent size. The sponge pudding was lovely with proper custard. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. At least 4 and a half stars

Came to leave a bad review after bad food and service but clearly don’t need to just read the reviews and the owner is in denial of everything wrong with their pub since they think its okay lol! And they tell everyone to remove bad reviews or claim its a different pub? Is this pub run by a child ? What a shambles Edit: And to leave such a childish immature answer then to change it because you embrassed yourself proves nothing but my point good day I hope you can find solitude in your deluded mind n it’s not a fake review either thank you for proving my point. I’ll be praying for you.

Sunday roast was disappointing. We came here for the first time and unfortunately last time. The ladies at the front seemed pleasant enough but not attentive. We were told our food will take 15 mins and nearly an hour later it wasn't. We went back to the bar to check and struggled to get attention as they were chatting away. Turns out the roast is ready and they were going to bring it out now. I presume it sat under a lamp for a while. The meat was so dry and visibly not appealing. The extra portion of toasties had zero seasoning on them. We ate as we were starving but didn't enjoy it.
