Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch here yesterday. The Sunday roast platter was amazing!! And a big thank you to the lovely staff who took such good care of us and particularly to my mother who is recovering from an operation and was in her wheelchair Highly recommend.

Well presented and delicious food served in comfortable and elegant surroundings; I always make sure to stop off here on my way through the north-east. Love everything about The Fox Hole. The menu is always interesting and made from locally sourced ingredients; staff are always friendly and helpful and there's always a nice buzz to the place. We happily eat in the bar or the restaurant and have also enjoyed lunch in the welly bar with four legged friends. The Fox Hole is our favourite local restaurant.
