The Fox Inn - Speisekarte

I have been for dinner tonight and decided to try the lemon sole on the specials . I can honestly say it was one of the best sole dishes I have tasted it was absolutely delicious well done !

The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. The only drawback was that it can get busy, resulting in slightly longer wait times. However, the quality of the food more than makes up for any delays.

We love this pub, it is family friendly with an excellent menu and a wide selection of drinks. I follow a gluten free diet and they were extremely accommodating. This pub is hugely improved under the new landlord a real treat!

had a wonderful experience with me and my family went on Sunday the frying was fantastic, the black was perfectly boiled, it was honest to one of the best frying dinners that we have ever eaten very cheap and the atmosphere and the decor was very welcoming. cant recommend enough 5 stars.

I came here 2 years ago, incredible location, ambiente, environment etc. but eating was disappointing. not this time, an excellent menu, I loved it. friendly profi and on my list back. I understand that a local person takes this place. as far as you're doing great, and you've got my whole back. visit people it is worth it.

Amazing lunch and such good pricing for the wonderful quality of the food served. Our waiter was lovely and very quickly rectified a mistake and even reduced the bill without being asked. We were visiting family and after such a brilliant experience we are going back next week. The atmosphere in the pub was lovely as well.

What a treat . We thoroughly enjoyed the Steak and Lobster night at the Fox. There was a great atmosphere for this very well supported event . The food was superb , cooked exactly as requested and the staff were very attentive . We are regulars at the Fox and the food is always excellent but it is a great initiative to put on these special events and we are definitely booking in for the next special which I believe is a ‘game ‘ night .

Our visit to the restaurant was extremely disappointing. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks and found out that most of the items on the menu were no longer available. The Sunday set menu was limited, with initially only one chicken roast available, but then we were told it was no longer available, only to hear the waitress offer two chicken roasts to the next table. My daughter's pizza was also unavailable after we ordered, and my son's steak from the Children's menu was so small that he was left hungry. Additionally, the restaurant was freezing cold. Overall, I was really disappointed with the experience.

First time to this place for years. Started badly when the pub claimed not to have received my booking despite having had a confirmation email. We got seated after a while but then had to wait a long time for our order to be taken (and had to go off and hunt for a wine list myself). Ordered wine and tap water but both took a long time and several times looking over at the waitress before they arrived. After waiting nearly an hour for food we were told it would be 6 minutes. It eventually arrived 20 minutes later. Most was OK except for my daughter’s pizza which was completely uncooked dough in the middle.
