Staff were so friendly , lunch food was great , plus the catering they did for a family members wake, exceptional could not of wished for a better venue .

Lovely meal with the family . Waited an hour but was so worth the wait. Staff did apologise more than once . We all had mains and desserts and went away very happy and full! We will be back. Thank you.

Not the first time we have been here. But this time was much better food was great we had roast beef, beef was tastey puddings were nice to. Staff lovely and friendly. Nice enclosed garden out the back with seating

Really nice! Friendly staff, pool table room is fab! Lovely little outside area as well with heaters. Had the sharing board and it was lovely so quick to come out as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had the Sunday slow roasted belly pork it was absolutely delicious... Good portion although a few extra roasties would of been nice. The gravy was the best I've ever tasted even better than my own, we had the belly pork bites to start with yes please they were the best will definitely be back soon Speisekarte ansehen

Excellent service, good food, and large portions (go there hungry). Nice touch of paprika in the [home made] onion rings. Mrs P 's Cajun veggie burger certainly looked home made, and she tells me the spicing was bang on. Recommended. Update May 2023, popped in for some tapa style food after coming back from Devon review still stands.

We Use this Pub quite often and we are never disappointed. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Been in at lunch and dinner time. The food is great for the value and is presented well on the plate or Platter. Pudding are a nice size not to big or little. Lots of different places to sit depending on who your with, quiet or busy bits of the pub or outside. Something to suit everyone

Once again the fish and chips are the star of the show. At 50 (and having travelled a bit I haven’t had better. Nothing here that will disappoint the family or foodies or sports fans .. a pool table, screens (but not ‘in your face’ and really fantastic friendly staff. Where do they get them from? Summer garden, winter evening open fires. Good, fair prices. A real credit to one of the most beautiful market towns in Somerset. Speisekarte ansehen
