"Located in the heart of Deddington, this restaurant is situated in a lovely location. During a family visit, three of us dined at the restaurant and were impressed with the exceptional service and extensive breakfast menu. We tried the full English breakfast on our first morning and found it to be excellent. We also dined at the restaurant twice and enjoyed the delicious menu choices. The staff were friendly and attentive. My Mum stayed in a room with a walk-in shower, which was spacious and comfortable. However, my husband and my room was a bit disappointing. While the bed was comfortable, the room, especially the bathroom, needed updating. The bathroom was clean but very dated, with a narrow bath and a shower head that needed replacing. It would have been nice to have a variety of teas and sachets of hot chocolate available in the room. The hotel is an old, charming building that is popular with guests, but the rooms could benefit from modernization, especially the bathrooms, without losing their charm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I would have given it 5 stars if our room had that extra touch of luxury that I have experienced in other hotels in the same price range."

We stayed here to break up a long journey. Phoned literally an hour before we arrived. Every member of staff were so helpful. Couldn't do enough for you. Food out of this world. Comfortable room with everything you could wish for. Shower amazing. Would definitely recommend. Absolutely brilliant

A very nice hotel restaurant in the heart of North Oxfordshire, the service was excellent, especially given our visit was for Sunday lunch for 15, although it was made easier as we were asked to pre order before hand, the pre order had to be changed on the day and this was done without issue, the prices are favourable for the area and the location is very good in the centre of a large village, can highly recommend this venue

My group was part of a large pre-wedding party, so the staff were busy. Our drink orders were taken shortly after being seated and our food orders soon followed. All of our meals arrived promptly and were delicious and well-presented. Adele and Angelo took great care of us, being polite, friendly, and efficient. Stayed for one night. Deddington Arms is in a lovely location in the heart of the town. The bar was comfortable with a log fire and good choice of beers. We had a very good evening meal with several options on the menu. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice and was worth the stay on its own. Our room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom could do with an update. We would stay here again and use as a base for visiting Oxfordshire.

We had a wonderful weekend in beautiful Deddington. Our room was spacious and had a stunning wooden four-poster bed, which matched the charming 16th century building. The room was located up a hidden staircase, offering a cozy and private atmosphere. Despite the pub being situated next to the road, there was minimal traffic in the village, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel provided a fan which was much appreciated due to the sudden hot weather. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
