"our reunion was good. good food and service. we were over and our disappointment was the evening when we tried to get a sandwich and was told that they couldn't make sandwiches in the evening?! we had to find a pizza between us. if we had known before, we would have gone elsewhere. the breakfast was good, though the service was a little slow. there were only 1 satchet of brown sauce between about a dozen tables and similar just a few breakfast menus to share! not what we expected. I don't know if we're back."

We stayed two nights at Deddington Arms Hotel and had dinner in the restaurant both nights. The food was excellent and service was really good too.

the three of us had a delicious meal earlier this month, a lunchtime. we had something else, the mushroom risotto, laugh at me the most delicious leber. all cooked for perfection and with delicious sweetness. great service. cannot wait to visit my niece, so we can go again!

We all had different dishes 3 of the fish options and the casserole. Everyone was very pleased with their choices. A very helpful and attentive waiter in relation to request for gluten free options checking he had the order correct. A pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and well spaced tables. our sunday roasts were very excellent, apart from the bratkartoffeln, which seemed to be old with black spots. not edible! another light negatiw was our table positioned under a window that unfortunately was very cold air from outside (it was an extremely cold day). the windows might be weatherproof for the winter and then be removed for the summer? we appreciate it's a very old building.

The service was very good. Generally the food was tasty but the steak was over cooked, asked for medium rare and came medium to well done. Upon checking the bill, sadly after leaving the restaurant, we found that they had added 15% service charge when we had already given them a very large cash tip to make sure the staff received it as they said they did not always get the tips. Please be aware.
