This historic building is charming. However, as another reviewer mentioned, the garden could have been nice if it wasn't for the loud industrial extractor fan that ruins the peaceful atmosphere. We only stayed for one drink and do not plan on returning.

Such an incredible place to have our wedding. From booking and post day the customer service has been amazing! No question unanswered, no problem to big or small. The food/drinks/hotel rooms were all top quality. Everyone has commented on how nice their rooms were, and...

Food was lovely, but service that night a bit hit and miss. Mixed up orders for starters resulting in a long wait for some party members and staff trying to clear starters before everyone had finished and as a result, mains probably stayed on the pass steaks were warm not hot. Quiet night in the restaurant and had to go to the bar to request the bill as staff seemed otherwise occupied.

We had a most excellent stay at the Greenman from start to finish. As National Trust members it was a great location for visiting. The food was cooked to perfection wonderfully presented. The accommodation was spotless the public areas had great character. The general manager was most approachable very warm as were her team during our stay but we feel we must mention George, Andy Kerry who really did make our stay the best. We will definitely be returning.

Went for a family wedding, all went well was beautifully decorated with flower boxes, nice gardens plenty of parking. Food was good at the wedding dinner. Our room was OK except a few places I thought the floor boards were rotten and felt as if it was going to give way. Bathroom and shower looked beautiful only thing we couldn't get any hot water so no shower during our stay wasn't happy about that, did complain but just got a blank look and a sorry nothing done about it. Breakfast was supposed to be 7.30 till 9.30. We went down at eight and the breakfast wasn't put out till nine. Bacon was good and sausage and mushrooms, but I'm afraid the mushy scrambled egg was horrible everyone was sayin...
