Really nice lunch for two, no booze as driving but starters, mains and dessert were all delicious and really interesting. Would recommend.

Outstanding cuisine in a casual pub environment. The Devilled Kidney starter was packed with flavour. The sea bass main course was just so fresh and flavoursome. Excellent quality food and service. Highly recommended to all

Matt's cooking is just outstanding. The best ingredients, imaginative combinations, not fancy, just perfectly delicious. Lunch yesterday was a great example: the sea bream with kohlrabi and brown shrimps was stunning, the fish pan-fried in a little butter, the kohlrabi finely sliced and served with tiny brown shrimps and capers. Nothing could have been nicer. Thank you, Matt and team.

I stayed at the restaurant for 2 nights. My single room was small, but clean and tidy, and was perfectly adequate for one person. The food was amazing. I had bavette one night and lamb the next, both dishes were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. I imagine coming here for a weekend would be fantastic with plenty of local walks and sights to see. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and I enjoyed being able to see into the kitchen and chat with the chef. Overall, I would give it a 10 out of 10. Speisekarte ansehen
