No room inside without booking. Garden pleasant and staff very accommodating with extra seating. Limited menu but food well cooked and reasonably priced.

I'm moved in. Friday lunch time for 2 fish chips, a beer and 2 tees ordered. hospitality was with excellent customer service throughout. eating was also excellent to ensure that they are not yet starving. a great lunch experience and would like to be back...soon!

Difficult to fault this lovely pub. First it has great Adnams beer, served by two very pleasant and helpful staff, also very efficient as well. Husband and I went for a walk and worked up an appetite. Stopped here on Sunday. Has a warm cosy feel to it. Ordered at the bar and the food arrived very quickly. I had a fish pie and husband had cod and chips. Both...delicious. We shared a sticky toffee pubbing which was also very good. Lovely lady serving too. Made to feel welcome. Definitely return.

A very well organised pub serving food in their spacious garden. A nicely balanced menu that includes veggie and vegan options. Efficient and friendly staff. Very good portion size and nicely cooked. It’s an ideal place to go if you are starving and want your...meal delivers quickly. We waited about 10 minutes. Also ideal for children. Well done Jolly Sailor, in these hard pressed times it was good to see you open, busy and providing employment for local people.

Nice Pub shame we could not go inside due to Covid precautions as last time visited small an quaint inside. We sat in the large gardens on a nice sunny evening. They have it sorted, ordered food at Pub garden entrance patio doors. Food an...drinks ordered taken quickly drinks given to take to your table. Food of traditional fish and chips, ham egg and chips, scampi chip and salad, burgers, veggie one made of chickpeas and regular beef.
