The King's Head - Speisekarte

I booked the restaurant for a birthday celebration and invited over fifty friends and family for lunch. Sam and her staff were most helpful and the meals were well presented and the helpings were generous. The lunch was enjoyed by all.

We called in here on a Monday afternoon for a few drinks whilst staying in the area. Most disappointing a regular stared most of the afternoon at the guests arriving making you feel a little awkward and dirty table even though the place was not busy.

A lovely restaurant decorated to a high standard. The menu choices are superb and of great quality. The 20% discount during January was an additional bonus. Staff were lovely; attentive, professional yet friendly throughout. Many thanks all we hope to return one day

After strolling around Woodstock and enjoying the incredible location, we decided to stop by this restaurant. The cozy atmosphere drew us in, and we ended up staying for a drink to relax. The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient, making us feel right at home. The prices for drinks were reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely return without hesitation. Strange start to this booking. We popped in on a Friday to book for Saturday and was told quickly there was no space. But a quick check on their website showed loads of bookings available, and when we went on Saturday the restaurant was only a third to half full at any time. The food was generally alright though my rib eye steak was on the well done side of medium. But the service was without smile and intermittent.

We have visited this restaurant for lunch, drinks, and dinner before, but we had never stayed overnight until this year when we stayed for the Blenheim triathlon. The rooms were good, the online check-in process was easy, and the rooms were nicely stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The room was on the smaller side, especially the shower room, but it had nice features. The breakfast and lunch food was delicious. We would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

I had a late afternoon lunch at the famous King's Arms (Fullers) and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The restaurant had bounced back quickly after lockdown, with an immediate and warm welcome and great attention to virus safety measures. The menu featured daily specials and the food was delicious. It was clear that there was something for everyone based on the diverse customer mix, demonstrating true hospitality. Overall, I was very impressed and would definitely give a big round of applause to King's Arms.

What the heck were they thinking when they ripped out the comfortable bench seating and put in oversized sofas. There is virtually no seating by what was once a lovely open fire. The modern wood panelling looks as though its been installed by an amateur and painted by another. The sofas in the middle room are tatty and covered in spilt drinks. There was virtually no one in and I am not surprised. This pub needs to regain some of it's old charm to woo back the locals and tourists. Also needs to be more welcoming felt we were intruding and an inconvenience.

We've been to this venue a few times over the last few years. Great location, central Woodstock, nicely done (inside and out), good service and all nicely Covid safe I felt. The food menu has changed I think since last year but it was good. Friendly service, relaxed and safe vibe, good menu. Great choice of drinks. Loved the squid starter. Nice pizzas, tasty toppings, good size (not too big for one) although I found them a bit doughy. I know it's pizza so it's obviously going to have dough it just felt like the base of the pizza could have been more pizza express rather than pizza hut.
