The Lindsey Rose - Speisekarte

Just back from a lovely Sunday lunch at the Lindsey Rose . Great pub great staff and great food! Will be back soon highly recommended!!

We went on Wednesday and had the villagers deal. Well worth the money. A pint and a great burger for £15 and I was stuffed .Great value.

Beautiful location and a very nice pub. Large amount of tables inside and outside. The service was excellent. The staff were great. The food was good! All round winner!

Lovely atmosphere. Lovely food. Lovely service. I’ve cycled past this pub hundreds of times but only just had the chance to visit. An absolute delight. Although they were busy we were well looked after. Definitely come again.

good food but very small portions,therefore very expensive for what all four of us received,mainly the main and desert courses. also the wine selection was expensive and an average range to chose from. as we are local to Hadleigh,we will not be visiting again.

Lovely location and been here for a drink a couple of times and thought we'd try it for dinner. Good service but let down by the food. Starters were OK, for main course I had pan fried cod, small portion of fish and veg was a few overcooked green beans with about 6 very small potatoes. Partner had Caesar's salad which tasted nice but was just chicken, lettuce, a little cheese and dressing. Shame as not sure we'll back for food.

We were passing through on a drive from Ipswich to Canterbury and stopped by for lunch. There was a garden party BBQ and we ordered BBQ chicken wings and dirty fries. The chicken wings were deep fried and then bbq sauce added on top which is not quite what we expected of a bbq party. There were no burgers or salads. Also, with it being a pub, we were surprised that only beer, gin and vodka was being served no rose wine or bourbons.

The night we went was a burger night. But there were 4 choices. I had the shrimp burger which was very good. We are wine drinkers and we’re impressed by the wine list. I also had the cheese board, which I would highly recommend. Some lovely cheese choices! There was a busy , lively atmosphere, which was also good. The night was let down by a group of males who were vaping at the table next to us, even after being asked not to!!! I have not seen this sort of behaviour for a long time, Shame.

Cycled to this lovely pub from Dedham for lunch. We were greeted promptly by incredibly friendly, welcoming staff. Was very impressed by the choice and prices on the menu. We ordered the Halloumi fries, whipped feta with warm honey on toasted brioche and the pea and asparagus gnocchi. Food arrived promptly. It was absolutely delicious and we were not disappointed with the portion size at all. I cook a lot at home and was very impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. We eat out quite frequently locally and can honestly say this is the best food we have had in a very long time. We will definitely be returning.
