"We 've been visiting The Moat for a long time and spending a lot of money on every occasion, the experience which occurred yesterday has made us come to the conclusion that we will no longer frequent this establishment. We went into the bar and ordered our drinks and decided to sit in the rear garden, with many other patrons, we choose to sit in the glorious sunshine but then realised that if we are going to eat it would be best to sit in the shade , so we picked up our drinks and moved over one table to be in the shade, just as we was about to sit down a member of staff (we think he was the manager) said to us in a very rude and ignorant manner inform a staff member before you move tables next time . We was visiting this with our elderly mother and did not want to cause a seen as this was her first visit but unfortunately this will now be her first and her/our last visit ."

As usual the Moat exceeded expectations. Lovely food, staff, surroundings. We have been meeting as a group of retired nurses for a while now in different restaurants and after Monday's visit have decided to make the Moat our permanent place.

We arrived at 5:30 and by 5:45, we had been seated and had already received our drinks and our mains. The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and efficient. The food was divine and very fair priced for the quality and quantity. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service as always. This is our favorite restaurant to go to! I had the Bulgar Wheat Salad and it was fantastic. My husband ordered the Lamb Koftas and my daughter had the vegan burger. Everyone cleared their plates, we all loved our meals. Speisekarte ansehen

From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The service, the friendliness, and the food were fantastic! I ordered the club salad, and it was excellent. The staff were exceptional, and the owner, Paul, made us feel truly valued. We had a wonderful evening at the Moat and can't wait to return!

Food was very poor the menu didn’t cover all aspects of people’s requirements ingredients were poor the value was over the food if the menu and quality doesn’t change we will not return and will not recommend it the staff need more customer service skills all bad experience and for my husband who’s birthday it was expected a little better ruined it for him
