We had a delightful and leisurely lunch. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The staff here are incredibly friendly and always greet you with smiles. The food is delicious, and the restaurant itself is quite spacious. For dinner, the average cost per person is around £70–80. I rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere also a 5. I highly recommend trying the Salmon Tartar!

The steak is flavorful and the portions are generous. The oysters are tasty, the bread is excellent, and the onion rings are perfectly fried. However, the fries were a bit too dry, and the desserts were just average. The ambiance is beautiful and the service is good, although each guest's meal seemed to get lost in the shuffle. The restaurant offers a charming, classic dining experience with elegant sofas and cozy chairs. Featuring fine table linens and napkins, polished glassware, and generous table space, it also prides itself on silver service and high-quality staff. With beautiful chandeliers, a pianist performing on Sundays, and a serene, relaxed atmosphere, it's an ideal place to enjoy a leisurely meal. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time here.

I never criticize staff for being busy in a restaurant's fast-paced environment, but every single member here made us feel at ease. The entire dining experience was relaxed and beautifully presented, and the staff demonstrated extensive knowledge about the menu. We were celebrating a special occasion, and it truly felt memorable. We arrived early to explore the grounds, and I highly recommend doing so. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to see everything we had hoped to before our reservation, but we’ll be sure to allocate more time next visit.

After hearing great things about The Oak Room, we were eager to try it out, and for the most part, we were not disappointed. There was a hiccup upon arrival as they seemed to have lost our reservation, but once that was resolved, we received excellent service from the pre-dinner drinks in the lounge all the way through to our meal in the main dining area. It was a nice touch that, upon discovering it was my wife's birthday, they served her dessert with a birthday message while the pianist softly played "Happy Birthday."
