Couldn't of been a nicer meal! Gorgeous chips, good portion size. Lots of choice on the menu.

Lovely food, good service, nice and clean and spotless loos, just what a weary traveller needs.

The restaurant had a limited staff, but all our dishes arrived promptly and the food was delicious. I would definitely return again.

The restaurant offered excellent meals and service. We found it surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. Average price per person is £20-30. Food and service both scored a 5, while the atmosphere was rated a 4.

Enjoyed the food, nice atmosphere, staff looked like they were struggling with some sort of depression but opened up after my mate broke wind and stank the place out. Large car park. Bit of a beer garden and a decked area was busy around 5 ish so maybe worth reserving a table. Shown our table drinks arrived quickly. Ordered the southern fried butterfly chicken with mushroom sauce. Arrived quickly and the triple cooked chips were definitely the highlight .

My two adult sons and I enjoyed a delicious three-course Sunday lunch on a very hot afternoon during the July 2022 heatwave. We had a reserved table in the shade, which was a welcome relief from the sun. The food was excellent and every staff member was incredibly polite. It was a great overall experience, from the different parking options at the beginning to the wheelchair access facilities at the end. The restaurant is located in a charming old building with plenty of character, but also has modern amenities. We will definitely return when in the area again.

Atrocious Quality. Joe's Cafe at Bistro Prices with Poor Service Thrown In. We decied to give this place a try on our way home. On entereing it seemed pleasant enough. The young waiter attentive. We ordered our food Cod chips and peas, halumi fries, garlic mushrooms with garlic bread.Our food arrived.The very small piece of cod laid on top of the soggy chips.....when moved it revealed the fries were greasy, soggy, and so many black ones we refused to eat the dish. I want back to the bar, where the manager was sitting boozing with her chums, and asked if the waiter would comne and sicuss one of the dishes.
