The Park Bar Restaurant At Ufford Park Woodbridge

We are so lucky to have the Ufford Hotel as our local place to go. We have had afternoon tea here several times and lots of meals all good!

Covid regulations were followed well but this wasn't a very comfortable place in which to eat. Food was uninspiring. Service friendly but haphazard.

Given the challenging times Ufford went out of the way to make sure all COVID precautions were in place while still making the restaurant a fun, enjoyable experience. Speisekarte ansehen

The restaurant was very quiet, likely due to COVID restrictions. The food was served quickly, and we didn't feel rushed, which was nice. It was a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a meal.

My first visit here and unfortunately I don't think I will come again. The decor is outraged and there is no atmosphere. I had to ask more than once for someone to take the order even though we were in plain sight inside.

The welcome from the staff was incredibly lively, and they were all working hard to keep the restaurant clean. It appears to have been recently renovated, and the views of the golf course are lovely. I can't wait to return. Everyone here is doing an excellent job—thank you! Speisekarte ansehen

We had quite a trek through the one-way system to get to our table, but it was delightful to sit outside overlooking the golf course in a cozy spot in the sun. The chairs were a bit low since cushions weren't permitted due to Covid restrictions. Nevertheless, the service was friendly and efficient, and the food was quite good. The portion sizes were decent and reasonably priced, especially for a hotel setting.

We were a bit apprehensive about dining because of the events in the bar the previous evening, namely the loud and abusive group of golfers who had clearly had to much alcohol during the day and preceded to ruin ours and everyone elses evening, however the manager assured us it would be alright to dine and it was a very pleasant experience, the food was very nice and the deserts lovely. A special thanks to our waiter who was very attentive and curtious.

Everything went down well until some golfing guests kicked off in the bar. They were treated with respect by the bar staff but they all flagrantly broke the covid rules. My wife and I were sat in a shouting match that would have good in a western saloon bar. We eventually took our drinks to our room because the open shouting was dangerous in these times. We were sat between the barman who was trying to calm things and the lout. Many guests witnessed their diatribe and an old couple were particularly upset. Your barman should have followed through with the threat to call the police. Unfortunately he was not backed up by the manageress and the arguments continued. My experience is that golf cl...
