Great food and outstanding service. At spice India you are well looked after and nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

I had a leaflet through my door inviting Us to order food to be delivered. I wish we had not bothered, rubbish food. Bin was full

Cold called by them. I have never used them so there is no way they would have me contact details legally. I can't imagine that the rest of how they run their business is any better.

Ordered on a Saturday evening 5.55pm, we were told 1 hour, no problem. At 7.55 rang them to see where it was, an apology and were told it's en route. Finally came at 8.15pm stone cold king prawn dhansak amongst other dishes. Presume had been round the villages prior to Grantham delivery. Totally unacceptable.

Whoever is managing this business has no idea what a proper take-away curry looks like or tastes like. My twenty years in West Yorkshire tells me that these guys are working from a book and have no understanding of value for money. Insisted on payment in cash at the door, always an indicator of something suspicious. Once bitten, twice shy.

Alarm bells started ringing when the takeaway ordered for five people failed to arrive ,it eventually arrived 50 minutes late the incompetent driver had ignored precise directions to the property and had been driving around the area pointlessly The poppadoms were crushed into tiny segments the rice was an inedible mush and the mains were poor quality , overall a waste of money

First time visiting this lovely restaurant. I have a peanut allergy and so trying a new Indian restaurant is quite a scary thing as they usually use nut oils to cook in,I was reassured that things are kept separate and indeed I didn't have any reaction. The food was absolutely delicious.all really fresh. The service was really nice and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. Also the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back with friends and family.

We were visiting Bottesford from the Southeast, hoped the previous review about cooking from a book was slightly harsh and decided to give the India Spice a go possibly the worst ‘curry’ I have ever tasted. Or rather, not tasted that is the problem, the food is not reminiscent of any Indian curry I have ever eaten. It’s more akin to a packet of Uncle Ben’s rice with some sort of bland sauce covering it. I have genuinely made better curries myself. This restaurant makes the supermarket’s own brand curry offerings look 5 star. Save your money and instead, take a short drive to Grantham where there are authentic Indian restaurants.
