Great vibe and nice range of food. Chips with garlic mayo are superb. Fab range of local cakes and always a decent coffee.

Fabulous place for coffee or lunch, very welcoming and friendly even when very busy. Yummy lunch , fresh fresh salad and delicious deli meats and cheeses. Will return when next in Sherborne. Speisekarte ansehen

A fantastic lunch experience! The service was excellent with a top-notch waiter. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious; the coffee was also very enjoyable. Another great restaurant in Sherborne.

I am thrilled that we stumbled upon this restaurant and that they had an available table for my mother and me. The service was outstanding and the lunch was delicious. I had a sourdough toast with goat cheese, onion marmalade, bacon, and salad. The hot coffee was also excellent. They also happily accepted cash.

I stopped by for lunch and had a sandwich filled with thick slices of ham, blue cheese, and onion chutney. It was generously filled, requiring the knife and fork provided to eat it. The salad on the side was delicious with just the right amount of dressing. The staff are always friendly and polite, making it a pleasant dining experience. Speisekarte ansehen

We arrived very near to the time the kitchen was closing but nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. Within a short space of time our delicious food arrived; my husband choose the blue cheese burger and said it was the best he had ever tasted whilst I chose the cheese omelette made with locally produced ‘Twanger’ cheese. This was so delicious that I purchased some from the deli’ at the front of the shop to enjoy at home. Full marks all round to this superb establishment

This friendly restaurant lived up to all the rave reviews we read here on trip advisor before we went. Excellent, quick and friendly service, tasty, very reasonably priced food, a cheese omelette, side salad and a portion of chips for one of us and jacket potato with cheese and beans which came with a small salad, plus a large extra salad with mixed leaves, tomatoes, cucumber and avocado for the other one. They got the order spot on. We'll be back and will recommend it to our friends passing through this lovely town. Thank you Pear Tree for giving us such a lovely lunchtime experience.

Called in for lunch after visiting the Abbey, so glad we did. Lovely place , clean with very friendly staff and lovely tempting displays of cakes and other goodies. We decided to have lunch, my partner chose the coronation chicken on brown (his favourite sandwich filling) he declared it the best he’d every had and waxed lyrical about how good the bread was as well. I opted for the home made ham and cheese quiche which was absolutely delicious, both plates beautifully presented with different salads on the side. Portion sizes were good and with tea for two proved a lovely lunch, unfortunately we’d no room for cakes sadly. Unfortunately we were only in Sherborne for the day but if we ever find...
