The Pear Tree - Speisekarte

Simply amazing! Great food and excellent coffee. Would highly recommend. It was very busy but the service was excellent and the food came promptly and was delicious!

Lovely coffee and g/f toast this morning , and a bonus of a g/f ready made quiche... Was told always something g/f available... Will be a happy customer from now on...

My daughter and I visited for lunch, we had delicious toasties and coffees. The staff were very friendly and efficient, there was a varied choice of food on the menu and lovely cakes. Will definitely return! Speisekarte ansehen

Came here for a family lunch. A few vegan options, but not as many as suggested by reviews here. What I did have was nice though. Not sure if there were vegan cakes/desserts. Lovely staff and good service. Good atmosphere :

Went on an adventure for a birthday trip and came across this little cafe. The staff were so welcoming, the cafe was clean bright and tidy. Only had cheese scones and a cuppa. But I can’t put into words how delicious the scones were! Would have bought more to take home but they sold out within an hour of baking them!

Picked The Pear Tree for breakfast on the strength of its reviews and found it fully deserving of its 4.7 average rating. The service was great and the staff exceptionally friendly. The scrambled eggs and croissant above average and the coffee excellent. I will be back next time I need breakfast or coffee in Sherborne. Speisekarte ansehen

I can only give five stars. A great and varied menu serving a lot of local food. Service was excellent, very friendly and efficient. We have never had a bad meal and went for panini's today which came with a mix of four different deli salads. No boring salad garnish. We Always have the chips here even though we don't need them but they do the best chips around so I can't say no. It's great value considering the quality of the food. The cakes in the deli are delicious too

I was shopping in Sherborne and decided to stop for lunch. I have tried a couple of the town centre cafes on Cheap Street so decided to venture down to Half Moon Street and found the Pear Tree. I was seated quickly, had to walk past a counter display of delicious looking cakes first though! I was not that hungry so decided on a toasted tuna mayo sandwich. It arrived quite quickly and was cooked to perfection. I had not asked for salad to accompany it, but there was a selection of different salads including quinoa, red cabbage, bean and green salad. All excellent and the service was charming. I will come back.

Hmmmm.... Has gone a bit downhill since our previous visits. This is/was our go to lunch venue whilst visiting Sherborne... I'm now not so sure that it's retained that status after today. I've had the quiche and salad before, and it's a bountiful generous serving of salad, plus a decent wedge of quiche. I have to say the portion size is about half at least a third less than our regular visits. I know that cost of living and business costs have increased, but I'd rather have the same quality and pay the price increment. Added to that, the quiche crust had that transparent uncooked pastry texture, and the taste proved it uncooked through. I did point this out to the staff, but they didn't seem... Speisekarte ansehen
