"Without a doubt the most friendly staff I’ve ever encountered in a pub; even if it’s your first time visiting you’re made to feel like a local and truly valued! In the summer it’s great sitting out in the garden or on one of the many tables surrounding the outside and the decor throughout is lovely. There isn’t a bar area as such inside, so if you are only having drinks you feel like you’re sat in a restaurant still, but the staff still make you feel welcome and are super proactive at offering additional drinks etc. I haven’t yet had the chance to dine here, but for drinks it’s superb and one of the most service focussed pubs I’ve been in, amazing."

we wanted to thank them all for a wonderful meal at lunchtime! the family celebrated my 21st birthday of my nephew and the idea of the chef to share a sharing tablet for everyone was fantastic! we'll be back soon!

Frequent this place, not as often as we should, the service is fantastic from the owner and staff and the food is the cherry on the cake, hard day at B M yesterday but a couple of Foster's, cottage pie, burger and sticky toffee pudding did the trick Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We spent last Saturday evening here and from the minute we walked in the door we were made most welcome by the Landlord/owner. There was a private function booked and the staff were clearly very busy but this did not affect our visit and their attentiveness. There was a good (proper pub) atmosphere. We ordered food (4 of us all ordered different meals) and it was all excellent. We will definitely make the time to visit again when in the area.

Visited the Prince of Wales for the first time tonight now the new management have arrived, we had a great welcome by Roly and the team. The outside of the pub looks lovely, neat and tidy and inside was lovely and clean. Great atmosphere, great beer and great food. We had whitebait, a huge burger and a good steak with scampi . Great selection of drinks and staff were on the ball, sorting our cutlery and sauces and making sure we had everything we needed. We didn't even need to go back to the bar for our second round of drinks. Will be looking forward to our next visit
