"1 1/2 hour slot to eat three course Sunday Lunch. This was fine as the food came out very quickly. Starter was Lobster and Prawn Cocktail. Nice size and tasty but a bit drowned in rose marie sauce. 2 Adult and one child roast beef was very nice. Nice Yorkshire. Good portion size and lovely well cooked tasty veggies (Cabbage, carrots and parsnips) . Meat was good also and plentiful. I always want more gravy than provided but forgot to ask when delivered to the table and the server didn't reappear as they are so busy. Only small issue is we would have had a pudding but had 15mins left to leave the table and didn't feel we could order and eat in that time period so left that out. Other wise very much enjoyed the visit and thank you for the hospitality."

A Christmas get together for people, very nice food for everyone. The lady in the dining room keeping a good handle on things. Not too long to wait for meal. This is the best example of vintage inns I have experienced. Have visited a few times and enjoy the environment. All very clean all through the restaurant, although did feel the toilet area did need a bit of a spruce. Will be back. Speisekarte ansehen
