Went for a Sunday roast with our dog. The place is cute and we had a lovely booth. Staff was nice and even nicer with our little boy. Food was really good, roast, sides, desserts. Fairly priced too (I'm used to London's prices

big pub we were recommended this pub by a waitress in a nearby restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised. the atmosphere is great and the personal was really friendly. so well we came back the next day, only we wished a table for a roast!

a beautiful pub where you can drink the best aperol sprits from edinburgh! I'm Italian and you have to believe me! the foos is very good and the staff is always friendly. I suggest that they book a table at the weekend, because in the crowd are usually many people.

Only been to the Queen's Arms on a friday night cocktail evening and it was the perfect setting! The old decor is amazing the service and quality of the drinks very good. My only thought is that al the times I've passed by it is always always so crowded. But again, perhaps that means everyone enjoys going there!

I have overtaken the fact that my football team, some of the most united, played at night when I arranged this evaluation and I was frustrated further to find it a target to half the time. when we arrived at the queens arms, united were now 2-0 down and played terrible. only a good eating could turn my mood around.

Usually come here when meeting a friend for drinks. The inside is nice and welcoming, with a good range of beers. Can't comment on the food because I haven't eaten here. There are two big tvs showing sport but the volume isn't usually on and is easily ignored if that's not your thing. Its a great place for a relaxing drink.

After one bottle of white wine, you expect to find a place that 'll suit your 'Highness '. So, my friends and I stumbled upon this pub and it turned out to be one of the most memorable and amazing evenings of my trip to Edinburgh. Dimly lit, bookshelves adorned with old beautiful smelling books and a proper pub ambience, this place has a warm vintage touch to it. And the beer..amazing!

hidden gem for eating in the center of Edinburgh. large decor and a decent number of sitting, as well as outdoors (for when we get out 1 day summer per year! the drinks are quite reasonable and there is a good selection of beer and weep as well as cocktails. the menu is great, with the option smaller or larger teller. we had the croquettes, steak and rocket and garnel. everything was great, the steak was served pink. the ham croketts were the outstanding court. good place to watch the football results and get rid of the vinuousness of the city center!

Our favourite variety of roast dinner is a classic, the chicken; lamb would be far lower on our list, it’s a tough meat to get right and often leads to disappointment. The Queens Arms was serving up lamb on our visit, gosh, this would certainly put our taste buds to the test… We were sat in a booth with a door. It was a lock-in at our table, our first ever taste of captive consumption – we loved it! The booth separated us off from the outside world, creating an intimate and cosy dining experience. Enter the roast, with four huge Yorkshire puddings and two mounds of roasties. A medley of root veg and cabbage arrived and we were all set. I know what your thinking, where’s the gravy EdinBlogger...
