Booked the upstairs area for 14 people for my 30th birthday after the chess valley walk. Beer was great, Manuel was an excellent host and attended to our dietary requirements with effortless professionalism. The food was outstanding! We had an amazing experience at The Queen's Head. The service was outstanding and the staff was very accommodating. The recent refurbishment looks fantastic and the food was delicious! The food at this restaurant is truly delicious. The Thai dishes are excellent and the service is top-notch. They mostly serve Fullers beer, but also offer great options like Verdant Light Bulb and Beavertown Neck Oil. We even had the pleasure of running into local celebrities Alex Horne and Tim Key! The price per person is between £20-30. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5 stars.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with a group of friends from our Tai Chi class. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The servers did a fantastic job delivering our food promptly, and the meal was outstanding. A big thank you to everyone at the Queen's for a great experience. The price per person ranged from £20 to £30. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5 each. I highly recommend trying the Red Curry Chicken, Chicken Pad Thai, and Massaman Curry dishes.

We booked a table in the bar for an early supper, to celebrate a birthday, and had a fabulous meal. The service was quick and efficient, the food delicious and good value for money. The pub was really busy (rugby World Cup final! but the food came out in very good time and it was all good. We shared a mixed starter, which was yummy and not greasy as they can be sometimes. Our son had the Pad Thai for main, which he loved and wolfed down, and my husband and I shared a duck curry and a special fried rice, both of which we really enjoyed.
