"Passing by noticed that they were offering unlimited roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and gravy with the roast dinners and seeing as I was hungry I thought I’d pop in for a roast and a pint. Service was swift and the girl behind the bar was very friendly. Ordered a turkey roast and I was not disappointed. Had a few of the unlimited Yorkies and potatoes after as per the sign on the window and there was no moaning/grumbling like some places tend to do. Would recommend and will have again when in the area."

Great pub. Karaoke on a Friday live band on a Saturday. Beer garden out the back. Football on big screens. Loads of room. Nice atmosphere.

Female Bar Tender on Thursday Evening very rude. No what would you like no price when served and to top just sat talking to her man friend at the bar. Very poor service in my opinion.

Staff are nice and the drinks are really reasonable, the people in there though are a bit territorial and like to stare and watch “outsiders” come in. Wouldn’t fancy going bacK, can understand why there’s bouncers on the door from 4pm Speisekarte ansehen

2 time here! And I feel like Im less important then others! If you are regular costumer you getting serve quicker than others and I got this experience one me!! Guy come from outside get served first then me! I can use AI to get you all the time 1 star if you start to think :D

I used to frequent The Metropolitan pub some years ago Today the 1st August my experience was awful a very varied menu and we fancied the fish No fish left at 2pm We then ordered Chicken Tikka no poddadoms no chutney Hard man bread and rice and tikka masala looked thrown on the plate Wine was warm Ice provided, then none of the deserts we wanted left It used to be such a vibrant fun pub but I guess they don’t order food in due to the quiet days I recommended this pub wish I hadn’t
