Lovely food, tasty, full of flavour, always pipping hot. Always arrives early, even when ordering on a Friday/Saturday night. I normally order from another place, but this is becoming my go to. Only used delivery service, not eaten in. Food: 5 Service: 5

I rang to check if curry was gluten free. The chef was busy so they took my number and he call back a short while later. He went through all the ingredients. And couldn't be more helpful. When the food came the gluten-free food was packaged separately. Tonight we ordered from this pig hole. Food was cold, no flavour to ANYTHING and it all taste the same absolutely vile!! The staff were extremely rude and uncooperative when I rang to complain! Terrible customer service! Refused to give me a refund as we’d eat some of the food! How are you meant to know you don’t like the food if I don’t try it!! I don't know if the Red Onion has a new, or trainee chef, but for the first time ever our order was extremely disappointing. Our king Prawn starter had no tails, so just normal sized prawns, our meat samosa starter was just that, two meat samosas and nothing else, our garlic naan breads had only a nodding acquaintance with garlic and our Tandoori chicken madras was very underwhelming. Lovely food and the nicest tasting Indians around stoke. Always perfect for a takeaway. we were a group of 5 sat in for about £32 a head. Bring your own drinks which is ideal. The set menu says rice OR Nan, but you have to have both so this doesn’t make sense. The interior is very outdated, old chairs and decor. This probably explains why it is empty all of the time. I hope this gets modernised and becomes a nicer environment to sit in.
