"On a Monday night in early February, I visited the Curry Inn for the second time. I received a nice welcome and enjoyed the comfortable ambiance and good service. The staff was friendly and well-trained, with a slickly dressed manager in attendance. However, I found the food to be lacking. The garlic bread and poppadoms were excellent, the Dahl was good, and the lime and ginger rice was interesting. But the brindi bargi was disappointing, dry, and tasteless. The vegetable biryani was standard, but it was unusual to need to order an extra wet sauce. The jungle curry was poor, essentially a gravy with tasteless chicken and prawns. I enjoyed a nice cobra 660ml and merlot, but overall, I believe there are better Asian food options in Cranleigh. The Curry Inn is worth a visit for a pleasant time, but it may not offer the best Asian food in the area."

"Six of us went for lunch today(6th March) I every one of us were so impressed with not only a beautiful pub full of character and charm, but all the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and as regards to the food, it was plentiful, beautifully presented and of high quality with plenty of fresh vegetables. The starter of scallops which my partner and I had were delicious and the roast pork was sensational and the Eton Mess was truly lovely. I’m not surprised that you have to book up well in advance and cannot recommend it highly enough, and we shall definitely be returning.Whoever manages this establishment has got it absolutely right. Thank you for a most enjoyable experience."

"I was gifted a camper van rental by my sons for my birthday. I’ve never driven one before, so I didn’t want to venture too far from home on my first trip. After researching all available sites for this weekend, I came across this...place. I brought a friend with me and my two dogs and we were welcomed onto the site and asked if we wanted to be near to the facilities. Very grateful for that! We chatted for a while and he even helped us hook up to the electric. Excellent start to the trip and very kind of R to help us. We sat in the sun for the afternoon and made our way into the pub for dinner later, (with the dogs another reason why I picked this place, as they were also very welcome). I ordered the fish and my friend had a burger. Both meals were very generous and very tasty. H and the other waiters who served us were great and very attentive. We left very satisfied that night. We also ate here on Saturday night and this time I had the salad with chicken. Delicious! I just can’t express the tastiness of their food, enough! Our waitress, A, was very polite and professional and we had a lovely conversation with her at the end of the night. My friend wanted us to have the Sunday roast before we left, so she booked us in and again, wow! She couldn’t decide between the beef and the chicken, so she went for the combo, which had both!! Not for the faint-hearted, I tell you!! What a meal! I chose the nut roast which was the best one I’ve ever eaten. The vegetables that come with it are also very tasty. The Yorkshire’s are nearly as big as the plate and were incredible! I can honestly say, Ive never eaten so many plates of delicious dishes as I did this weekend! We spoke to several of the staff during this weekend and found everyone to be amicable, friendly, hard-working and willing to give good service. I can not fault them. Our stay on camp was enhanced by the young family who were staying across the grass and we had so much hilarity with their small children as they kept asking to see the dogs. They were great. Other campers were very friendly and I enjoyed the camaraderie from them, even if it was just with a good morning wave and hello. I have no hesitation in recommending either the campsite or the pub, or indeed both together, to anyone! I would like to thank every member of staff for the welcome and professionalism we experienced and we will soon be planning for our next visit! Thank you. x"

"when we arrived. they had no recordings about my booking that was through open table?! they had no more tables, as it was a fully booked restaurant! fortunate they found a table in the bar and we had a nice evening. I will no longer book through open table! I will book directly to avoid any disappointment, not get a table again! thank you, more openly, they almost spoil our evening!"

"Very disappointing. For the second time in 2 weeks I've tried placing an order online but it doesn't work. After taking 1/2 an hour, the website won't process the order. I call and they say sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Just sort it out! So I place my order over the phone and the total cost is significantly more than what it worked out to be on the website. Then I'm told that prices have increased but they haven't updated them on the website. What a waste of my time. Not going to bother ordering again."
