The Robin - Speisekarte

My mum and I had sandwiches and coffee today and were blown away by the welcome and friendliness of the staff. As a bonus we sat in beautiful sun!

We always go in here for a Sunday lunch and the food gets better and better. Staff are so easy to get into conversation with. Al though there is a small car park people are more than happy to top and turn in there ...Other wise parking with just a short walk

Really pleased with our deliveroo from this pub, the portions were huge my burger was massive and my kids ate loads of Their nuggets chips and corn. My hubby had a salad which massive and delicious. Will definitely Eat here again both in the pub...or from deliveroo Speisekarte ansehen

I went to this restaurant with my partner and son intending to just have a few drinks, but ended up trying the food for the first time. It was delicious! The portion sizes were generous and reasonably priced. I also appreciated that they are dog-friendly. We will definitely be returning soon!

Food was excellent.my friend had the lamb shank said it was good.all fresh veg.vegan curry was very tasty and i had the jerk chicken burger with coleslaw and chips.realy nice the lamb shank and jerk chicken burger was off the specials board. The actual menu...had some nice dishes.Declan the server was very nice.pub was clean.and nice and warm. First time in the pub and we all said we will be going back.the only thing i didnt like is food served on a wooden board.

Booked a table for 2, was shown to a table in the bar area, where football was being shown, asked to be sat elsewhere but was told fully booked, there was no-one else seated to eat, ordered food and a family was sat at a...nearby table, 53 minutes later when the other table started receiving their meals we asked where ours were to be told they would be out soon, 10 minutes later no other meals had come out of the kitchen, we settled the drinks bill and left. Cant comment on the food as we didn't receive any. But over an hour wait in a restaurant serving 2 tables is not acceptable. Speisekarte ansehen

I had an hour for a meal. Saw The Robin and it looked good. There weren't many people in the place on a Saturday lunchtime. I ordered a burger (not too difficult After about 20 minutes I asked how long it was going to be....The response was a few minutes'. That's OK. a but later the same question and the same response. Meanwhile, there were few customers and plenty of people going in and out of the kitchen. The burger eventually came after about 45 minutes. It was OK but I had to rush a meal that I wanted to enjoy and left nearly half of it as I was stuck for time. Sorry, might have been good I will never know!

Our experience at The Robin was awful. Despite the mandatory face mask policy in communal areas, we were the only ones wearing masks. Our waiter also did not wear a mask while serving us, which was unsettling as a vulnerable person. The waiter was unprofessional and had us set up our own table. The drinks were good, but we waited 45 minutes for our starters. There was no vegetarian option in the veggie roast, just vegetables and potatoes, which was misleading. The food was served by a mask-less lady who shouted the names of the roasts across the table. Two people left our group early due to the poor service. The supervisor was apologetic and reassured us that this was not the norm at The Rob...

Unfortunately, due to unexpected circumstances, I had to change the location of my mother's wake from home to a different venue at short notice. After contacting several pubs near Bentley Crematorium, Carla from The Robin responded promptly and informed me that they could accommodate us. When my daughter and I visited the pub, Carla showed us the space where the wake would be held and took care of every small detail, even catering for vegans without any issues. The pricing was transparent and reasonable. The spread of food was impressive, with tables adorned with fresh flowers in my mother's favorite color.
