The food was excellent, great value for money, and we will definitely return. It is likely the best pub food in the area, no doubt about it.

Amazing lunch. Restaurant and bar fully booked so sat outside in the winter sun. Warned of 40min delay of food but served within 20. Great service and top notch food. A nice find!

Great atmosphere, great food, great beer. We walked in on the off chance of some food with three kids in tow. Our coeliac was considerately catered for, and no one batted an eyelid at our baby breastfeeding. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

The Sunday roasts at this restaurant are fantastic. The service is quick and friendly. They are also dog-friendly and offer a delicious vegetarian option. The price range is between £20-30 per person. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.

Visited on a Friday evening, very busy as it was Goodwood Revival weekend as well. We didn't have a reservation and the restaurant was full so decided to stay and eat in the bar. Visiting the area overnight and luckily came across this gem of a pub. Really friendly staff and the food was excellent. We even took part in their regular quiz night which didn't end so well...but the regulars were very kind and helped us get over our embarrassing performance. Highly recommended.

Hidden above a quaint pub while out for a ride, we decided to stop for lunch and we are so glad we did. My husband ordered the steak and kidney pie and said it was the best he's ever had. I opted for the fish and chips, which came with a generous portion of fish and delicious chips. The food and service were exceptional, and we will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant.
