Lovely warm welcome for us and the dog, real fire, cask beer and lovely food, what more could you need after a walk by the river

beautiful gluten-free chicken burger always a little paranoid at eating somewhere new but the chef was great came out checked everything in order to visit my other half really enjoyed the escape he ordered

First time ive been back to the pub in years . Absolutely fantastic and wasnt disappointed. Log fire . Dogs welcome . And the food and drinks were reasonably priced . Very good value . I had the lasagne and it was lovely . Definitely need to visit more often Speisekarte ansehen

we were over night during the visit of the family in the opposite, room with view of the river was excellent, a delicious breakfast prepared by tony after the walk through the river, we had also served lunch by friendly staff who was beautiful and down by quality genuine ales, all in all a great place and can not wait to stay again, thank you!

Last weekend, we enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch at a restaurant. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it. I ordered the Lamb and my wife had the Turkey, both dishes were very well presented by the friendly staff. We couldn't find any faults and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to the Ship Inn, Keith, and Sheryl for a great dining experience.

Booked hotel as I'm a single dad of 2 children and having a hotel room and a cooked breakfast was the reason I paid £215 for the night to get the kids fed in the morning. Breakfast was advertised between 9 and 10 bit late for me but nothing, not even staff on site. Should have stayed in our roof tent for free. Had our money for bed no breakfast and i didn't feed the kids until 11. Should be at least half price Speisekarte ansehen

Rooms could do with a fresh coat of paint and general maintenance but for the price it was perfect. Clean rooms and bathroom. Everything you need for an overnight stay. Our evening meal in the pub was amazing, top notch food, and thankfully gluten free options for me. Complimentary breakfast was a bit of a let down for me with no gluten free options except ham and cheeses. But had options of toast, muffins, waffles and cereal for others. Staff couldn't do enough, young lads serving food were super polite and helpful

Been planning a trip to this pub for a while not been as years ,as I used to have a boat on the river, Did not dissapoint service 5 star from phone to book a table to arriving. Food Mitchelling star excellent, best chips I've had ever home made cooked to perfection and the steak was amazing. Reasonable priced and drinks . The young lad that was the waiter what an absolute little star he was very professional and well mannered. This pub is lovely inside and out and great to see dogs are welcome my labrador will be coming next time to sample the steaks . Keep doing what your doing team ship in you won't fail well done . The location and beer garden view at this place are absolutely dreamy. The staff, especially Tom, were professional and welcoming during lunch and dinner. The quiz night was a fun experience as well. However, my stay was unfortunately ruined by the disappointing breakfast provision. The room I booked last minute was clean and well-equipped with a lovely view of the garden and river, creating a peaceful atmosphere. But the breakfast included in the 120 pound room rate was a disaster. The provided supermarket packaged waffles and bakewell cake could not pass for a continental breakfast. Toast, cereal, and cold coffee were also subpar. It's a shame that such a great stay was marred by the break... Speisekarte ansehen
