Twice we’ve visited now during the kitchen opening hours as shown on google and been refused service because either the kitchen was closed or we didn’t have a booking despite it being empty? Assume the chef rules the roost here and fancied a break. Staff seemed panicked and unorganised. Advice would be to call and make a booking as it’s clearly not a walk in venue. Just a shame as the food is good and we’ve travelled twice and been let down. Perhaps list food as booking only?

Visited for a family meal. Clean and inviting restaurant and we were warmly welcomed which doesn't happen everywhere. Well looked after from beginning to end, the girls were fantastic, polite and accommodating. Food was exceptional (taste and presentation). It was nice that we were asked if we had everything we needed and whether we were enjoying our meals. Highly recommend to all. Big shout out to Chef! Best meal out we've had in a long time! This restaurant feels like a missed opportunity to be truly exceptional. Recently, a fantastic outdoor play area for kids was built, but it is already showing signs of neglect, with two of the few swings and one slide either broken or removed. The food is decent but lacks creativity at best, and it's probably overpriced, except for the current weekday deal of two meals for £15. The dining experience is mostly self-service, requiring customers to fetch their own cutlery, napkins, and sauces, as well as place orders at the bar. While the place strives to be welcoming and family-friendly, it still has the vibe of a traditional pub that caters more to local regulars who quietly enjoy their drink... Speisekarte ansehen
