The food is good, but the ambience is more of a busy cafe than a relaxed restaurant.

Very pleasant surroundings to enjoy a long-awaited catch up with friends. Simple menu but with enough variety for most tastes. Lovely!

The restaurant has a convenient location right next to Victoria Station. We had a reservation for mid-afternoon, so it wasn't very busy at that time, but the service was a bit slow. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we appreciated that we weren't rushed out after we finished. Speisekarte ansehen

Visited on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2022. The food was good, but we had to wait an hour for water and had to ask three different waitresses for it. The food itself was tasty, though on the salty side. The prices were reasonable; we spent £34 for two vegetarian meals without drinks.

great meal. limited menu, but eating was delicious and very well presented. service was excellent. respect and friendly. with our desserts with a happy birthday chocolate for two of us from the party we have also made special effort as we celebrated our 50th birthday. we had booked it for dinner, but in any case back. very good also.

the room itself is beautiful, high ceiling, magnificent crown shape. the food that came was somewhat different from what was ordered, maybe they would run out of the things that could be communicated (i.e. the focaccia was in fact regularly toast). the service was overall good, although a bit slow, and the music was loud and felt not like the environment (not the volume, but the style). Very nice place for a spot of lunch or as I observed afternoon tea (will be back to try that in the future) Though there was a clear staffing issue while we was there the overall experience was a good one and the food was absolutely delicious speed of service from ordering was very impressive and the presentation was to a high standard. Overall I recommend it if you are in the area and want a chilled yet high standard meal.

A fantastic discovery! Tucked away yet conveniently located. As noted in other reviews, the staff were exceptional, and the food was enjoyable. The menu offers a diverse selection to cater to various tastes. The steak was delicious, and the dumplings were both intriguing and delightful. The presentation of the dishes was impressive. There was a wonderful selection of wines and cocktails, and the dessert was scrumptious. The atmosphere and vibe during our visit were lively, with plenty to recommend. This place has all the potential to be outstanding. Additionally, it was affordable, providing excellent value for the experience. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We are so glad we found this place! We were wandering around the area looking for something nice and quiet with great food. We found it! The fish was absolutely amazing. Excellent cut of fillet with really nice buttery sauce. Yes, it may not have been huge but it tasted great and I'd have it again. My girlfriend had the steak and ale pie and loved it. I tried a bit of it and found it very tasty as well. The service was great! I walked in without reservation. Originally the table I got wasn't great. Due to the cancelation of a reservation, the waiter came up to us without us asking and he asked us if we wanted to move to a better table. The table we got was very nice. We appreciated the offer...
