"I needed somewhere to sit down really badly. I went in here explaining all I needed was a cup of coffee until I recovered and was collected. I had two, the coffee was that great. I can not eat when I am out as the reaction is more trouble than it is worth but I look forward to having a sit in here again and leaving with something nice for home. I really think it is a pity that lovely little spots like this are bring edged out by excess bills and bureaucratic difficulties, to replaced by the bland plastic chicken merchants. But perhaps that is the plan."

"Been to this place a few times, sit and takeaway. While I cannot fault the food as it is always tasty and well presented, they do seem to be forgetful. Was in a few weeks ago, got Chicken Goujons and chips with Garlic and Sweet chilli dips to takeaway and a Caramel Rise crispy Square, brought back to the office was delicious and really enjoyed but today they lost their memory. Said to me I couldnt have gotten them there and they do not offer as takeaway. This was only 2 weeks ago so someone has got it wrong. Very disspointing that they did not seem to beleive me and even asked was I sure it was in their establishment. Not good to question a customer like that. Anyhow, did not seem to be getting though to them, all four of them. Order a toastie and a carmel rice crispy square, Toasties lovely, Carmel Rice Crispy Square was not in the bag, just a plain one. It was nice but not a s nice as the others. Lesson, do not agrue with customers, if they say they got something they got it. Pity , as the food is good. Update, still not been back, no reply from the resturant. That means they still believe their own PR. Update 20th Feb 2024, have been back recently and really cannot fault the food, sandwiches , good choices and some lovely tray bakes. Appreciate the chef reply to reviews and explaining the situation."

"Tomahawk was incredible! Undoubtedly the best steak I have ever eaten! Seating is strange ambience was definitely lacking. We ordered a side it was clearly forgotten about, we reminded staff twice we were still waiting on it, decided to start eating what we already received as we didn’t want it to go cold it arrived when we were 3/4 finished. Disappointing in that respect, as it was not busy at this time."

"We succeeded in finding a wonderful restaurant in Belfast. Smaller place with superb service, great location, and skillfully prepared food. The duck cassoulet was the best dish of my entire life. Everything else we were served was delicious and satisfying. Do not leave your chance to eat here to luck. Make sure to have a reservation—the world is discovering just how special this place is!"

"Today I got takeaway from this restaurant. The miso soup and the sushi was all Tokyo standard food. This was my first experience of the location, the staff were very friendly and I am going back once lockdown is over to sit in. amazing quality food. The quality of the seafood was superb. the menu is very impressive. Worth a visit definitely. The octopus was particularly nice as was the salmon. going to dine in tomorrow (Oct 2021), have reviewed the menu, and will post photos and comments tomorrow. based on the past, I am expecting a great meal Today, was excellent, the food and the staff were excellent. Both myself my friend really enjoyed the food. Superb Tempura and Raman. definitely going back. (14th Oct 2021) First visit of 2022, had an excellent meal and a great conversation with an authority on Japanese food. his summary was, the venue and the food was excellent and it reminded him of his home in the east"
