"Had lunch with our friends and had a mixed experience. The good bits were the friendly welcome and nice atmosphere. All the staff were lovely Rosie in particular who was lovely with my friends little girl with lots of banter. The downside was some of the food. Why have spicy chicken in a child’s wrap selection? Her Dad had to wash it in water before she could eat it and why put imitation cream in the filling of a Black Forest gateau? The other meals were fine although it was mentioned that the chicken leek pie was a very small portion also although very nice. It was not all bad though as the skate, lasagne pork belly were fantastic. All in all we had a nice time but could have been better."

We visited for a birthday and the service we received was outstanding. Birthday bunting put up which made the birthday boy feel special , and then a birthday desert with candle etc we couldn’t have asked for more. The food, as always , was delicious x
