Had Christmas lunch there very good a d value for money.

Had Sunday lunch, food was delicious. Service excellent, staff very attentive and very friendly.

If you like your Spanish lager and not the UK brewed rubbish. The Mahou on tap here is the best iv ever had. Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely Sunday dinners, we sometimes collect a dinner and can almost feed 2 people as the portions are huge..

I visited the chip shop rather than main pub. The service was good, and the food was very nice, and I will undoubtedly visit again next time I am in the area. Speisekarte ansehen

This place was absolutely amazing. The burgers here are brilliant. The desert is brilliant and don't get me started on how polite the servers are it was so good I went home and told my friend I wanted to go back and have more.

We arrived after the funeral very nice bar person seated in the restaurant we were told by our host no buffet because we are next to very nice chip shop ordered what we wanted food 1st class hot and quick and What a portion That Will Do Me

Ten of us booked The Star for the three course Christmas Meal at £17.95 per head .It was really good value for money and very efficient , friendly service. Good choice of starters soup, salmon pate or tomato tartlet all prettily plated with garnish. Nine of us had the turkey again beautifully presented with stuffing, pig in blanket, roast parsnips and roast potatoes alongside platters of veg sprouts, carrots, peas, red cabbage, boiled potatoes and additional gravy allhot and very tasty! Choice of desserts Christmas pudding, cheesecake or warm chocolate brownie with ice cream and those who couldn’t find room for their desserts took them home in foil trays great service!
