Went for the seafood and steak and were not disappointed. Lovely friendly staff and some great menu options. We started with the mussels and the scallops both great (and when a portion of the mussels hadn't opened during cooking, they did some fresh ones for us). Mains were steak and monkfish and were very tasty. Dessert the best bit!

I had the pleasure of eating here last Saturday and today. can not recommend it enough. fabulous spits and cocktails. the setting is perfect. as someone who moved to orkney from the edinburgh lothian region, I always felt that in an up market it is trendy modern place to eat and drink and the house store meets the place. fantastic. xxx

I only dined at the restaurant and didn't stay in the rooms. Overall, it's a good option for meals, earning an 8 out of 10. The desserts were intricate but still very tasty, so I’d rate them a 7 out of 10. The service was prompt, although the restrooms are located upstairs and a bit inconvenient to access. We visited for dinner tonight with my wife and mother-in-law, and I must say, everything was outstanding. From the initial booking to our arrival and dinner service, it was a fantastic experience. I can't find any faults—the staff were exceptional, and the food was delicious. We would definitely eat here again. The staff were friendly and took great care of us.

Well-kept restaurant with teal windows and details in the center of Kirkwall, very welcoming, slightly Urban style, nice and large but I advise you to book. Tasty and particular dishes, even a little fusion. The soup was very spicy but good. The pork belly was good, I didn 't realize it was fried but very good. The cut was really good. They also accept children. Good beers, average prices. Very busy but friendly staff. Last meal served at 8, so don 't be late! Walkability: Practically behind the pedestrian street in the centre. The Storehouse is a restaurant and bar with eight hotel rooms in the upper two floors of the building. St Magnus Cathedral and the main shopping area of Kirkwall are just a short walk away. We stayed for two nights and loved the colorful design by a local artist, and the many nice little touches. The building was originally a storehouse, hence the name, and nicely converted into a hotel. It’s a mix of modern and traditional, recently renovated to high standards.
