Served my food to the wrong person, and then just went and retrieved it and gave it to me. Didn't offer to remake it.

I had an amazing Latte and Mince Pie over the weekend. The coffee was incredibly smooth and was served to my table with excellent service. I will definitely be going back!

I enjoyed a work buffet lunch from the Stottie company. All of the food seemed fresh. My favourite food items were the onion bhajis, scotch eggs and cinnamon pastries. Would highly recommend.

I had a chocolate brownie £1.70) after asking the guy behind the counter which was better and he was correct. The brownie was delicious and such good value especially for an in- station location. Cold drinks are 10p cheaper than the drink machines also!

This cafe, now operating as a Stottie Company cafe, is located on the platform at Middlesbrough station. The interior is cozy and perfect for a chilly morning. The service was efficient and they accept card payments. I ordered a bacon sandwich and coffee for around 5 pounds. They also offer takeaway cups for drinks.

I recently visited The Stottie Company and was excited to have a burger and chips with a beer with my partner before a night out. However, the food was awful and we ended up requesting a refund. The staff's attitude was terrible and the manager was unhelpful. The burger was thin, the bread was stale, and the fries were frozen. The veggie cheese sandwich had only a thin slice of cheese and too many peppers. I would recommend going to Tesco and getting a meal deal for £3 instead. I cannot believe they have the audacity to serve such poor quality food. Avoid this place at all costs!

My wife and I recently visited the Stottie Company in Middlesbrough station for what was meant to be a quick coffee. Once there, we decided to have something to eat, i had the full english breakfast, and my wife chose a bacon bun. The food arrived and i have to say, the portions are more than adequate. My wifes bun was stuffed with a huge serving of bacon, and my breakfast had everything you would want to set you up for the day. The staff were lovely, the coffee and food were good quality and the prices were, for what you get, were very competitive indeed. We will definitely be returning. .

Come here for dinner, we came here a few weeks ago for the first time it was lovely, staff were nice and well presented the food itself was nice. Come here for the 2nd time, what a big difference within a few weeks! The staff were really rude and when I asked to speak to the manager I think his name was Karl he was also rude towards me, I ordered a breakfast and a crispy chicken burger when the breakfast came the sausage was burnt and tasted like it was just warmed up and the bacon was burnt to a crisp! I had no eggs and my toast was just like bread and butter. When I put a complaint in i didn’t even get offered a fresh one, no refund or no sorry just ‘nothing we can do about it’

Tried this restaurant when it first opened....nicely done out-new furniture and decor....pity we couldn't say the same for the food. We both had a lunch time meal and it was just like eating in a greasy spoon cafe. Thought this could be just down to teething problems so decided to try the breakfast menu on this visit. We both opted for the bacon stottie (bacon crispy please) and coffee.....and same as the last reviewer were very disappointed. I think the bacon must be pre-cooked because it was on the table in 2secs flat.......a cold soggy bun that stuck to the roof of your mouth, bacon that was not crispy and cold with grease swimming on the top.....UGH! Bring back the old cafe we were certa...
