"This pub is quite the experience. It offers a little bit of everything, literally. It may not be suitable for those easily intimidated. It may seem a bit rowdy for some, but I had a fantastic time chatting with the staff and other patrons. Definitely not a place to bring children in the evenings."

"Ate at La Porto 4th May at 8:00 p.m. with two of our friends, we were really surprised when we arrived, to find that we were the only customers in the restaurant and that they had stayed open to accommodate us, at the earliest time that we could arrive due to other commitments. As usual the food and service was amazing and we didn't feel hurried in any way, given that we were the only customers. It seems such a shame that a restaurant which serves delicious food as La Porto is not supported by customers after the early evening specials finish. Hopefully the evening business will pickup for this very lovely restaurant and it's staff."

"Poorest Indian meal I have ever had, hardly any taste and I don't like a hot/too spicy Indian meal. The starter was King Prawn Purée and there was hardly any prawn in it and mainly bread which was more like a tortilla wrap. The main course was Chicken Shashlik, again no taste, the chicken definitely hadn't been marinated and was also tough. I looked at all the reviews and was quite excited about trying this restaurant, never again. Even after complaining about the main course they had the ordasity to try and charge me for it!"

"I had an amazing experience at the restaurant before heading to the theater. Everything was wonderful—the staff was friendly and plentiful, and they were very attentive. For my meal, I ordered the mussels, which were fresh and plump, served in a delightful garlic cream and white wine sauce. I appreciated that there was plenty of sauce for dipping the bread, which is often a downside at other places. The skinny fries and fresh bread were also excellent. My wife chose the hot shot parmo, and it was equally flawless, accompanied by a generous serving of fresh salad and tasty skinny chips. For dessert, my wife enjoyed a delicious chocolate brownie while I indulged in a stunning ice cream topped with candied walnuts, almonds, amaretto biscuits, and a drizzle of espresso. We also had two large Bacardi and cokes and a lime and lemonade, making the total cost £67. I highly recommend visiting Fellinis—you won't be disappointed! I can’t wait to return. Thank you! "We chose Persian cottage to have a private dinning upstairs for our wedding reception. This involved only immediate family and we wanted somewhere where we could enjoy amazing food and relax. Persian cottage (Mohsan) went above and beyond to make the whole experience perfect. They listened to all of our individual requests for food and allowed the florist and wedding planner to completed transform the room to make it perfect for us. They made sure they looked after everyone involved to complete the room transformation. Allowing them to arrive the day before and the morning of the wedding. Making sure they all felt at ease and had everything that they needed. They are all so kind and caring listening to everything we wanted and exceeded my expectations. They even added some of their own traditional and personal touches to finish off making this experience so unique, personal and comfortable. The food was absolutely outstanding as it always is from Persian cottage. We had a mixture of all the starters to share because how can you chose just one. They are all so amazing, authentic and home cooked like my dad makes! If you haven’t tried the starters then you need to order one of each with the bread to eat them with. Absolutely amazing! The presentation was beautiful and the attention to detail made it perfect. We all chose our own mains and I got some extra dishes for people to share everyone was so happy with their choices. Everyone commented on the authentic food and amazing flavours that we all love. The whole team made sure everything was presented amazingly and come out all together. We then had their baclava for dessert and it was amazing flavour and so fresh when eating it. Although we were all extremely full we had to get the rest boxed up to take with us. The whole day ran smoothly and was stress free thanks to the amazing team at Persian cottage. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so perfect in every way! I would definitely recommend Persian cottage for a meal or an occasion as it never disappoints!"
