I never had such a warm reception in a pub as here. beautiful bar staff and friendly local wonderful traditional pub served great beer, will try to eat at some point. a cleanly maintained pub. I will be a regular visitor here. Speisekarte ansehen

we have eaten several times here. always great service and a great vegan menu. the vegan cook is sadly pulled away. has left a really good legacy and the current cook makes a great job. the sunday roast jacket and filling is beautiful and the sticky toffee pudding is also!

what a super little sound. large pub full character, supported by the local aswell as visitors. not a huge menu, but that is not wisely distracting it from the quality of eating. personal really friendly and attentive. and compliments to cook the Sunday roast and the sticky toffe pudding for the desert was fabulous. great sauce. we're coming back.

On Wednesday nights, you can enjoy a curry meal including curry, rice, popadom with chutney, onion bhaji/pakora, and a glass of wine or a pint for only £12. The value is unbeatable. The restaurant was bustling with energy, and the service was phenomenal. They also offer a similar deal for Pie night every Tuesday. This traditional and authentic village pub deserves top marks! we had a short-term cancellation in our hotel and claire im sun inn joined in 2 days to accommodate us. our party of 18 had four vegans (I am vegan) and five sweets, eating was really nice. it is a real surprise to get a vegan option in a local pub, let alone four or five. claire and their team offer a great service and we would recommend the sun inn to everyone. I am not sure all menus have vegan options, so check before they book.

This restaurant is fantastic! The staff are very knowledgeable about beers and spirits, and they have a great selection of malt whiskies which is rare for a pub. The drinks are reasonably priced, especially the doubles. The food options such as Brixworth pate, sirloin, gammon, and scampi were all delicious and well-presented. The portion sizes were generous and the overall value for money was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive. The outdoor seating area is also a nice option. Overall, this restaurant is worth a visit.

I love proper country pubs and this is one of them. What a wonderful find! The food was excellent and served within a very acceptable timescale. The cost was fabulous. As it is Tuesday and therefore pie night, it was £10 for a pie meal and a pint. Excellent value. The service was brilliant especially Jordan who was so welcoming and interactive to just the right degree. Both him and the lovely lady who served us (truly sorry that I failed to get her name) were so friendly and welcoming, and they both had the perfect amount of humour and attentiveness, and both were so very on the ball, even though it was a busy, summery evening.
