ok good service good pub friendly staff,just wanted the meal to blow away kind but just average really ,pluus i think my steak had beeb frozen !

Visited with family for Sunday lunch. Pleasant staff average food. Nice warm fire but venue lacking in atmosphere. Perhaps a more extensive choice of menu would help.

My husband and I dined at this restaurant today and enjoyed a wonderful meal. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Speisekarte ansehen

I had an evening meal and chose the steak which I wouldn't normally have. However, it was a wonderful dish tender and tasty meat, a great sauce and big cut chips and onion rings I couldn't fault it. The atmosphere was really cosy and the staff very friendly and welcoming.

Stayed here for one night. Wish it could have been longer!!! What a find..... the food was delicious, the breakfast was very tasty...overall very friendly and the whole place felt relaxing and chilled. Lovely surroundings and a great pub restaurant. Landlord and landlady were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.... thanks for a lovely stay and for your kindness

Booked a table for two the night after valentine's day with my wife. The restaurant is extremely friendly and cosy. The special Valentine's menu was available all week and I have to say was top quality. We both had three courses and had different choices throughout however I would have been happy with any item off of the menu. Reasonably priced, very classy dishes in a friendly environment.We have eaten at restaurants claiming to be alot better but they have nothing on the Tally Ho Inn. We will definitely be coming back. We went for lunch on a Saturday. Upon arrival, we were informed that there was a 30-45 minute wait for food, even though the pub was empty except for a few tables with children outside. We decided to order something simple - ham, egg, and chips. When our food finally arrived, the chips were cold and the egg appeared to have been sitting out for a while. The pub had an inflatable assault course for children in the garden, which could be a great attraction for families with kids. However, I would not recommend going there for a meal!

I made a reservation for 8pm on 26/08/2020 as there were no earlier available tables, which was not a problem for me. However, after ordering 2 skillets, I was informed a few minutes later that they were not available. I was disappointed but ordered something else. I expressed my disappointment to the staff, but from that point on, I felt uncomfortable. The service lacked friendliness, with no eye contact or pleasantries. Even when paying the bill, there was no feeling of warmth. Overall, the experience ruined my evening and I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

I took an old friend of mine for lunch today and what a lovely experience it was.On arrival we were greeted in a very friendly manner by the Landlord and soon found ourselves in a comfortable dining room with a good glass of beer perusing a small but good menu. This size menu made us think things would be cooked to order and this was the case. We both chose the steak and it arrived cooked to perfection (the chef is no amateur) and we both ended up with clean plates. The deserts were very good and the coffee was up to scratch.We were shown the larger of two dining roomsp as we discussed the excellent meal with the Landlady, and it shows how much effort this couple are putting into building a...
