Good value brunch with quality ingredients. Very quiet but was filling up for lunch as we left. Good start to the day at RHS Wisley.

Excellent overall but I’ve marked it down for one reason. That was when I was served my starter and a female staff member asked “is this yours” in a blunt and unfriendly manner. The male waiter was great.

We wanted to give this restaurant a perfect 5-star rating, but we had to deduct 1 star for the food. The main reasons for this were the limited menu options and the disappointing thrice-cooked chips, which were too thick and not crispy. Despite this, we were two very satisfied customers!

Lovely restaurant, very nice meal, good service. Only gave 4 stars as food wasn’t as described the roast potatoes were supposed to be garlic and herb but just roast potatoes and the chicken was supposed have an orange and maple glaze but was just roast chicken. Fabulous afternoon tea to celebrate my goddaughter’s birthday. The food was excellent and plentiful with quality cakes and scones. Tea and sandwiches* replenished and different options* served without question for two of the party who didn’t like salmon. The service was attentive and the staff friendly and professional.

I dined with a friend yesterday (for the first time in the Wisley restaurant) I ordered the fish and chips as a main and she ordered the sausages and mash as a main ... I had to ask for new chips as they were cut so thick that they weren't cooked the replacement portion were the same ... and my friend's sausages needed to be pan fried to colour them they looked pale and unappealing. The waitresses were lovely and efficient and friendly and the restaurant itself is beautifully furnished by the chefs need to make sure the food goes out perfectly.

Unfortunately not a great experience. The starters came out pretty quickly and were thought to be lovely. However the mains took approx 1 hour 50 minutes from the time we sat down. We always exercise patience these days and fully appreciate that when food is cooked from scratch it takes longer. The restaurant was only half full however and there appeared to be lots of staff. I think there was cream on my fish which I don’t like, I did not notice cream mentioned on the menu, also the potato fondant wasn’t cooked properly. My son had to order potatoes with his chicken as this didn’t come with any. The staff were very bad at letting us know what the delay was all about. It did start to irk a bi... Speisekarte ansehen
