"The food was fantastic, featuring authentic Neapolitan-style pizza made with fresh ingredients. The charming little restaurant, which can only seat 10, is beautifully decorated and creates a cozy atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. "Feel bad for taking stars off because the food was nice enough and the service friendly. But. We were the only 3 people in there on a Saturday night and it still took over 45 minutes to get 2 pizzas and a steak because they prioritised the delivery food so we waited for them to send food out whilst we were sat right there. Speaking of steak we ordered two but were told, politely, there was only one steak. On a Saturday night with NO other guests. Also the specials board consisted of two specials but one of those also not available so why not just take it off the board? On the plus side toilets were clean and wine was good."

"I knew from the moment we arrived this would be an interesting experience. The big, expensive sign at the front door letting us know in big red letters, No mask- No entry was a giveaway. out of four of us dutifully donned our masks...for the three steps it took to reach our table, where we sat down and duly removed them again. Oh well, we all need to do what we are told, despite the fact that those who are telling us to do it are ignoring the rules themselves. It was a Saturday lunchtime and the place was nearly empty. The staff were wonderful. My meal was great; the others not so. My wife had the carvery and was miffed at not being able to select her own vegetables, instead, having them put on a plate by a waitress to keep everyone safe. When she tucked in, she was of the mind that they were reheated from the day before (perhaps another quiet day The plastic screens erected on the edge of every table did nothing to restrict the flow of air (containing the dreaded Corona virus) but did mean the fantastic waitresses, wearing masks which do not filter or contain what is breathed in or out, had to lean over everyone while they put the plates on the table. They also restricted my elbows when I tried to tuck into my gammon steak (with egg AND pineapple I have been here before and have always enjoyed myself. I do hope the owners are able to get over the fear that has been stoked about this disease and get back to being a venue that is welcoming to all, and provide an environment enjoyable to be in. The desserts were a real treat."

"So many positives about this place, amazing views, lovely decor and the food is absolutely fantastic. We came twice throughout our holiday as the food was cooking beautifully. The seafood chowder was simply the best I have tasted anywhere and the rest of my party could not praise their meal enough. Now for the big and glaring negative….the service. The first night we came it was reasonably ok, a lovely young lad was really attentive and paid attention to all the guests. The second visit was absolutely shocking and it involved a manager. We finished our meal and was asked if we wanted dessert and that is the last time we saw the waitress or any other staff member until we managed to get her attention. There was a manager behind the bar area and five members of staff around him chatting together, one of them more than once played ‘find my iphone’ which was irritating and you would honestly think they had shut and were having some downtime together. This place is fantastic but the management need to sort themselves out. Left feeling we wanted to return for the excellent food but not for the service."

"The restaurant was a little tucked behind in a side street with their logo which was small, kind of made it hard to spot but got there in the end. Had to wait for a table too but was definitely comforted by staff. The atmosphere was warm, busy for a Friday night so can't complain. The food was fantastic and tasty. The staff were very helpful and nice, although I have to say one of the staff left a bad B.O trail where ever they went so they probably need to work on that. Other than that, it's a brilliant place to dine in Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Garlic Bread and Cheese, Calamari, Spaghetti Carbonara, Tiramisu"
