very good lunch selection on meals and trips. possibly not for large groups, but seemed for up to 6.

The food was wonderful, and the service was friendly and attentive. While the annex isn't as appealing as the main dining areas, we enjoyed a lovely table with a view of the courtyard.

Last minute booking and didn't expect much, but it exceeded all expectations, staff were lovely, great service and really lovely food and nice atmosphere. Will definetly be going back and hope to have the same experience. Speisekarte ansehen

The meal was cooked to perfection, just like always. It offers a more upscale experience compared to many other similar establishments. Our waitress was lovely—very polite and attentive. However, the tables in the main dining area were a bit too close together. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant several times, and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable about the food and its preparation. This is incredibly useful when hosting guests with varied dietary requirements and different ages. Overall, it's a fantastic dining experience with great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and an enjoyable evening out.

However, the service bill needs to explain that the dear weeping or will be like the outcome of the staffs that we have taken care that we have to eat and be to come and manage. the other of the KINDER-MALEN was that it was one of the KINDER-MALEN, who worried for God. it was an emigration for the two LATE MEASURES that produced the occasion and the so no recommendation. very delicious food and beautifully presented. a filet of lachs in a tomato-based sauce and a small bowl of comminuted new carrots £16.95, which is quite expensive for 2 main ingredients. the walter has more a modern application in the decor. would be great if the fires were created in winter, as it is a beautiful old building that could be really cozy and authentic. have been there in summer and the outside space is great. good for light bite and beer after work as well as for a lazy lunch relaxing on the afternoon sunshine.

We were a little disappointed by our experience at The Walter Arms. Firstly the positives; I have to commend the service which was really good and the decor and atmosphere of the dining room was also very pleasant. The food was a bit of a let down though. Fish and chips was rather greasy and bland and the mushy peas and chips had far too much salt on them. My wife had the special of swordfish steak and scallops. This was rather over-sold; the steaks were wafer thin and small and there were only two scallops. It had disappeared off the menu by the time we looked at puddings so maybe she was unlucky and got the last one? All in all probably not worth the upper end price tag.

The last few times we have been here at lunch time and found the service very slow and unprofessional staff were very young and seemed inexperienced which I assume is through no fault of their own young people lack confidence and require thorough training. The food however was of a high standard as always but to be frank the service put me off and I wasn't going to return as I feel the prices while not overly expensive, are certainly not cheap and I feel the price demands a full high standard dining experience. My husband convinced me to return for our anniversary and I must say we were not disappointed the best meal we have had anywhere ever! Glad we gave the Walters Arms another chance bit...
