"Very disappointed and will NEVER be returning. Used to class here as my local however after todays experience I will never be returning. Firstly I ordered a beef and gravy sandwich to be told they haven’t got sandwiches on today and we were asked had anyone informed us of this which they hadn’t. Secondly when my boyfriend went to place his order the waitress had decided to leave the table. I then had no choice but to order the gammon which I asked to have fries with. My partner ordered pork loin and they did not ask what he would like with that I.e mash chips potatoes. No longer having placed our order I heard someone else place an order at the bar asking for a sandwich and to be told that’s fine. Then the waitress came over to our table to be told they had no mash to go with the pork but we never had an option. Anyways when my meal came out the waitress asked who’s the steak and veg were baring in mind she was holding gammon (she hadn’t a clue) what she was handing out and it came with homemade chips which I did not request as I requested fries. The fries then came out soaking with grease and tasted heavily like grease too the pot they were served in also had a pool of grease at the bottom.Disappointed"

great atmosphere, live music, when we (saturday night) make a good choice of beating on the bar and high-quality eating on the menu. highly recommended. in summer there is also a spacious beer garden.

Went especially to listen to the live music performed by the wonderful Vieux Carre Jazzmen. We shared a large pizza to nibble and as driver of the day l had a shandy. We were made most welcome by the friendly .staff.

First time trying here as heard loads of good reviews about the place.. And it certainly won't be the last. Food was absolutely beautiful and full of flavour too! Thanks again for such an amazing trip out to try the white swan :

not locally in the opposite, but have visited this pub over the years at some occasions. eating was always nice and the staff is very welcoming. yesterday had a Sunday dinner for the first time and I can honestly say it was my favorite Sunday dinner by far when I look. will be going back soon

beautiful small village pub. dog-friendly (exterior only) with a large legal in the rear garden, which has heating and fire pit. the personal is so beautiful! the service was great and they were very warm and welcoming. They even set us up the firefield, as we had the dog and was a little cool out there. we have ordered some pages to go with our beers. the parts were huge! fries and wobbles were too much for me and my bf. back to any case. in the interior of the pub also looked so warm and cozy. but we just let ourselves in to watch the drinks.

we visit this pub often with the family and it was always good. our only complain is what happened to the hand-cut chips that they were irritating earlier and now they are hard and dry and pampering the meal to be honest. I hope that this commentary can be taken as a constuctive note, as I don't like the shops that work hard to do it best and make a living. but if no one tells them that it doesn't change and I recently spoke to others who said that the chips used to be beautiful wonder what happened. Hopefully this is sorted and we'll get the old chips back. here in the hope

it's a past since I visited the white swan, but found me there twice to visit this week. first I visited on Wednesday with my chef taster, my grandson. at this opportunity we both had the sizzling duck. cooked to perfection not cooked to not with an excellent pink tinge throughout. Today I was accompanied by my wife, who can be very critical due to the pudding trade with her mother vater.
