Dalziel Park Golf Club

Big fan of Dalziel Park, and Saturday was no exception. we had a party of 11 for a family birthday. the service was outstanding. Menu choice was brilliant and the food itself was great. Will def be back soon.

Excellent meal from the Sunday menu. Friendly attentive staff without being overbearing and were happy to serve us with a small change from the menu, no issue at all. Glad you are back to work and we hope to return soon.

Not the first time at the wide mouth frog,but won't be in a hurry to return. Staff were polite and efficient,but the food was distinctly average. Felt it was on the expensive side for what it was. Noise from the adjacent bar was also ott. Speisekarte ansehen

5 stars all round from start to finish 6 for the décor which i think is very elegant we had a window seat over looking the golf course our meal was very nice beautiful presented finished with a drink at the bar in the lounge area next door. Would highly recommend.

We are regular visitors to DL park, and our latest visit was excellent. Menu is a great size with fantastic selection. We loved the value in the 2 for 1 on selected mains. Of particular note, the steak pie and fish and chips are both lovely. Big portions across the board. The staff are all lovely and seemed to be happy at work. One minor thing, in our visits in the last few months (approx 3 4) we always seem to not be able to order our wine of preference as its unavailable. Maybe a supplier issue? Or just bad luck? Overall definitely worth a trip!!

We are never disappointed when we come here, always consistently great food and service from Colin and the team. If you love homemade pate this is the best there is in the area, always the same recipe, unctuous, creamy and smooth as velvet…. doesn’t need the chutney it is that good! We also had the lambs liver, which was absolutely the best I have tasted. We spend a lot of time in the Cotswolds, Wiltshire and Hampshire where they rave about their lambs liver with creamy mash, not a patch on WMF@ Dalziel Park, with the gorgeous onion gravy and creamy mash, so tender and cooked with attention and lovely presentation. On a beautiful sunny evening, my family and I enjoyed a meal in Dalziel Park hotel. We sat outside on the terrace overlooking the golf course, as we had a small dog. The waitress was very helpful and food and drinks were served efficiently. There was a wedding in one of the suites which we could hear because doors were open due to the heat. This did not disturb us because we were aware that the hotel is a popular wedding venue. Presentation of the food was very nice but food was average. Nevertheless, we were a party of six who enjoyed our visit. Carpark can be a bit tight especially when there is a wedding on. Visited here today for lunch with family. Beautiful interior, and we were shown to a good spacious table. Our party of 4 ordered different starters all were enjoyed, particularly the prawn cocktail and the haddock croquette which were excellent. Mains arrived, one was excellent (chicken Kiev). The salmon and crab crumble was fine, but unfortunately the roast beef ordered by two of us arrived barely warm (a vent above us was blowing cold air which didn’t help) and the meat was extremely tough, so much so my mum couldn’t eat any of it. Credit where credit is due I can't fault this restaurant. Went here for a nice lunch with my daughters and their partners on Saturday afternoon. There was also quite a big wedding going on at the time but that didn't impact our meal as they seem to have a completely separate function suite for weddings. Was nice to see all the wedding guests in their finery in the bar also. Service here was very good. Laid back but attentive. Mains of fish and chips and burgers and steak pie. All freshly cooked.
