Lovely Sunday lunch at the pub, the food was delicious and well presented. The cheesecake was outstanding. Good selections of wines, gin and beer. We enjoyed it so much we’ve booked again!

We are a group of friends who arrived on horseback for a few drinks.....it was a great experience! A friendly welcome, efficient service and even assistance with drinks to the car park where the horses were parked! A perfect evening, thank you!!

An absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch at the Willow Tree, the food was amazing , the complimentary bread and olives to start were a really nice touch . As always Sarah and Matt were extremely welcoming, a really nice atmosphere in the pub . I would definitely recommend a visit .

We had such an amazing meal , beautiful Sunday dinner, my daughter is dairy intolerant and was treated to her own veg and cauliflower cheese, nothing was to much trouble. Excellent service and Matt and Sarah were so welcoming. We will be back . We are always looking for a good Sunday dinner. Definitely recommend it .

Booked for Tapas night and we were not disappointed. Sarah, Matt and the team had gone above and beyond. The food was exceptional, the tables were beautifully set and the staff are lovely. The Spanish guitar entertainment was fantastic. Even the menus were beautifully designed on lovely card. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The Sunday lunch at this restaurant was fantastic. Sarah, Matt, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to ensure a smooth dining experience. The food was homemade, fresh, and delicious, compliments to the chef and kitchen staff. The waiting staff were also exceptional. Be prepared to eat plenty, so make sure you've finished your diet before going!

I enjoy dining out for Sunday dinner and have visited numerous restaurants in and around Newark, but none can compare to The Willow Tree! The presentation and flavors of the food were impeccable, showcasing high-quality ingredients and deliciously tender meat. The new owners are incredibly friendly, providing superb service, and the restaurant has a fantastic ambiance. The bread selection, oil, and olives served at the start of the meal exemplified great hospitality and set the tone for the rest of the dining experience.

I had an amazing Sunday lunch at this restaurant!! They had just started serving Sunday lunches again, and the food quality was exceptional. We were served delicious complimentary bread and oil while we waited. I ordered the pork, which was cooked perfectly, and my wife had the Nut Roast, which was also very tasty. The vegetables were cooked and served beautifully, with plenty of butter, and I loved that the gravy was served in a jug so you could add as much as you wanted. Make sure to save room for dessert - it was definitely a highlight of the meal.

The Willow Tree is a fantastic pub with welcoming hosts. Sarah, Matt and Mika are always welcoming and friendly. I am a regular at the pub as I live in the village and regularly attend some of the events they hold (quiz night, open mic, food nights) The Sunday lunches are also delicious and something I can’t wait to indulge in more over the colder months!
