"we knew that they had a pretty big function they cared for so our service was a little slow. no care. the staff was very friendly. eating when it arrived was very well presented and delicious. good price for a good standard pub restaurant. I wouldn't have a problem returning to this pub."

Nice quiet lunch. Good food, I enjoyed my pie which actually tasted of the ingredients. Pleasant service. Portions are good but not too large, lots of vegetables. A good place for lunch.

Great family friendly pub. A whole enclosed garden dedicated to kids so you don’t have to worry about them annoying those without. Inside is a little old fashioned but on a sunny day you can’t beat it.

Great pub wirh some great beers Staff are lovely. This pub must be the best kept secret. Some signage at both ends of the road they wouldn't cope with the influx of new business. Keep up the good work team.

Lovely food, super friendly staff. They happily provided some childrens meals although they weren't on the menu. Would have been 5 stars if the wait hadn't been so long. They were very apologetic and were obviously busy.

We had the good fortune to have our family Christmas get together here today and it was excellent. Good food, excellent service. Nothing was too much for the friendly attentive staff. Thank you all so much for making it such an enjoyable and memorable lunch.

We visited today, the food was obviously cooked from scratch, was very tasty and the portion sizes were good. There is a very good selection of real ales and the staff and patrons were very friendly. There is a very nice garden area and a separate place for kids to play.
