"Upon arrival, we found ample parking and a beautifully set table by the window with stunning views. Starters were served promptly, with high praise for the quality and quantity of the dishes. The mains, including the Three Lakes Burger, were delicious and satisfying. The vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free members of our group were equally impressed with their meals. Desserts were a delightful end to the meal, with the option to take leftovers home in provided doggy boxes. The attentive staff checked in throughout the meal, offering great service and a friendly atmosphere. Afterward, we enjoyed drinks on the outdoor veranda, soaking in the lovely weather and views. Overall, our 4 1/2-hour meal was relaxed and enjoyable, thanks to the excellent service from Alex, Kerry, Jemma, and Charly. Many in our party, who had not been to the restaurant before, were pleasantly surprised by the hidden gem. Everyone agreed to return for future visits. The entire staff was helpful, friendly, and polite, making my son's birthday celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you to all at The Three Lakes for a fantastic experience."

Nice location but that’s where the positives end unfortunately . Disinterested and rude staff, bland food and the place needs a seriously good clean.

Lovely landscape and views on a warm Sunday afternoon. Coffee and chocolate cake were great. Service fast and friendly. Food delivered to other tables looked great and heard lots of positive comments this would encourage me to come again .

Had a great family meal, we were a large party of 11 and the staff were great, accommodating us outside by moving tables around. The young staff were pleasant and handled our large order really well and the food was excellent. I would definitely come back again soon.

Great set up with fishing tackle shop and lakes along side a good sized restaurant with plenty of seating inside and out. The restaurant was well organised and coped easily with our party of 8. Food quality was high, portion sizes very generous and prices reasonable. There is also ample parking on site. Speisekarte ansehen

Never again as the staff were not capable to get an order at all after we patiently waited for good 40 mins although we attempted to give an order in the bar area but been refused to. We even weren't allowed to see the manager to place a complain. lt was such a waste for a beautiful Sunday evening and caused us ended up in McDonalds! Simply, don't expect much unless you have strong nerves.

The pork was extremely fatty and only consisted of three small, thin slices. The Yorkshire pudding was tough, the cabbage lacked flavor, and the carrots were overcooked. The pigs in blankets were satisfactory and the crackling was delicious. Unfortunately, the entire meal was served cold. The service was not great, possibly due to short staffing. They started to clear our plates but then served other tables before eventually returning to clear the rest of our table.

Another couple sat at the table next to us and jokingly compared the atmosphere to a Wetherspoons pub. Although the food and service were good, I would not recommend booking here if you are looking for a relaxed evening. I shared my feedback via email the next morning, and the response cited the restaurant's busy season with large camping group bookings and training of new staff. If you are seeking a quiet and peaceful evening meal, I advise against booking here unless you enjoy the chaos of a campsite restaurant with loud noise and barking dogs.

We visited for Sunday Lunch after our booking at the Pooches Paddock. We did prebook a table for 4 with two dogs as the restaurant does get very busy. We had 2 starters the sea food cocktail and ribs, both very nice and for mains 2 x Roast Beef, 1 x Roast Chicken, a children’s Roast Beef and extra pigs in blanket. The portions were very generous and tasted amazing!!! The food was delivered quickly and was lovely and hot and the waiters and waitresses kept us topped us with drinks! Service was great, food was amazing and we love that the restaurant is now dog friendly inside! Will definitely be back! Can highly recommend, thank you!

"I recently moved from Stanstead Abbotts, a beautiful little village in the valley of the river Lea. At the end of the high street is this quaint little Thai restaurant that I used to walk by and always said to myself Before I leave this village, I will book a table and have a meal So said so done. On the afternoon of my move, I asked if they had a table available (on the spot) which they did not hesitate to give me. The restaurant has 2 sections, the front is the largest. I was given a table at the back, as I 'm assuming the other tables were reserved. The menu is vast, bright and colourful, with a touch of personal personality and the price points were within my budget, plus I was giving myself a treat. I ordered 4 dishes: 1. Pad Thai chicken Ginger dish, which I thought came with noodles, but didn 't 2. Crispy sweet and sour beef 3. Thai Green curry 4. Coconut rice This was accompanied by a medium size glass of Lemonade with a slice of Lemon for garnish. The Presentation was nicely served on white plates which made the colours of the food stand out. I had two waitresses, MiMi looked after me the most and frequently asked if all was well as I ate. I was quite hungry, so she said no rush. The decore in the back of the restaurant was embellished with potted plants, hanging from the ceiling with, faux red leather benched seating and whitewashed brick walls. Where I sat (at the back) felt slightly cut off from the main hub of the restaurant, which did affect my overall experience, albeit I was grateful to be given a table, at such short notice, so I reframed that circumstance. I could hear chatter in the busy kitchen, as takeaway orders, were going out, as well as seated reservations. BACK TO THE FOOD: All dishes were served hot and well presented. My Thai curry was in a bowl, that almost tipped over, not sure if that was my haste or the design of the bowl. This tasted exquisite. The flavours bounced around my pallet and the chicken was so succulent and morrish with a touch of heat! As I stated earlier, from the illustration on the menu I ordered Pad Thai, which I assumed was a noodle dish, yet when it arrived it was just chicken and ginger in a sauce. There must have been a miscommunication when I was making my order...Never mind, I had enough in front of me and wondered if my eyes were too big for my belly ! The crispy beef was OK, a little chewy! and the coconut rice was a delight. All in all, I was full and the meal satisfied my hunger. In reflection, if I was to order all over again, I would have ordered x2 THAI GREEN CURRY and I would have been happy, The bill was brought to my table promptly, after I asked for it in a nice golden ornate-looking bowl, accompanied by two pearl mints (nice touch) Now for the hard part.. The Bill I was pleasantly surprised to pay £38.35, that afternoon, excluding a service charge (not sure if that was because I was eating alone or what) If I were to give my whole experience of dining at Khunnai Thai Cuisine a mark out of Ten, I would grade it 7/10. Room for improvement: The decore in the back part of the restaurant, maybe some soft Thai music, Change the colour of the deep red Faux leather seating to something more tropical looking, Maybe an extension for outside dining, at the back (during summer) and a little less NaCl. Comments are given all in goodwill. Thank you for a tasty meal. I would definitely eat at Kuhnnai Thai Cuisine and bring my friends or family along...Next time I will book a table for the front of the restaurant, which appeared to be a more open-plan layout with a buzzing atmosphere."
