I come here with my family a week ago and we all ate pasta. It supposed to be fresh, but it wasn't actually... And at the end we spent a lot of money for nothing ... too bad we're not coming back!!!

Great lunch time menu of 3 courses for the local workers and everyone else is welcome too, excellent value! Would highly recommend. The pizzas are great too. The stinco on the evening menu is huge and amazing! Good efficent service.

I went with my family there, my sister who has small children. The little girl was a bit sick and did not stop crying ... the staff reaction was surprising for us, not friendly or understanding at all ... they showed us their dissatisfaction !

We were here for dinner with friends and enjoyed the rustic atmosphere and simple dishes. I tried the local fried bread with caprese (mozzarella and tomato) and found it good. My friends also enjoyed their dinner, served with local wine and beer. Service was OK and prices reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

I had lunch yesterday on my way back from vacation. Is has become a habit: every time we are in Sauze d 'Oulx we always stop at Trattoria del Commercio. We like the food: we discovered regional specialities we can hardly find elsewhere (e.f. ghenefle a sort of gnocco made of potato,bread,cheese) and we have never been disappointed. We like the staff: very welcoming and always ready with suggestions and over time you feel more like a friend than a customer. It 's easy to park: just in front of the railway station.

I went with my family, during a rainy evening of June. The food is average. We tried the chiacchiere with prosciutto, the brasato and the lamb with raisins and pine nuts. The lamb was probably the best one, with a tender meat and a pleasant flavour when it melts in your mouth with the sides. The brasato was forgettable at best. Nice service, pleasant environment, good coffee. The presentation of food was interesting. Overall, the worst thing is the price. 71 euros for three people it's not a lot, but it's far more than what you should pay for that kind of food quality.

This is now our family tradition, and it’s worth the 7 minutes diversion from the highway between France and Italy, just before or after the Fréjus tunnel depending on where you’re heading. Menu du jour on a weekday, 15 € for a starter and main dish, I’m not sure if dessert, coffee and a small pichet of wine were included, or charged with our teenage daughters’ orders: they only wanted pasta (yummy lasagna and pomodoro), and asked if fries were available. Though not normally, the kitchen graciously made some for them. If you're driving between Italy and France and using the Fréjus tunnel, this is a great place to stop for a meal. 5-8 minutes drive off the highway. Park at the local train station. We arrived at midday and were the second group of clients. Friendly service and very efficient, menus in Italian only, use Google translate. The pasta is excellent, not too salty, even the bread basket was yummy (the bread, not the basket , and the waitress refilled it for us half way through and didn't charge us for more.
