Tristan's Bistro - Speisekarte

The food and staff were very good but tge atmosphere was cold. Some work needed here to make it more homely and warm.

Another great meal as always . Ham hock to start followed by the lamb and then cheesecake. Service great as always despite being busy..

Came in for a meal because I was too lazy to find food at home, the food here was excellent, I had the brie and a sirloin and it was delish and the cremé brûlée was divine (little bit boozy Very excited for the Christmas menu, the burger looks amazing

Such a lovely restaurant and we know we will always have a good meal . The food is well thought out and tastes delicious with lots of flavour . The staff are very attentive and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. I’m so pleased we live only a 10 minute walk away .

Had a great night, started it off with the malibu and coke, The waitress’ suggested the mushroom starter, so I got that and the sauce was delicious Then I decided to try the ‘Tristans triple threat burger’ and I loved it, it didn’t defeat me but it is hard to fill me up Brownie for dessert, I definitely suggest! We had the Christmas menu and the food was absolutely delicious. The best Christmas meal in a restaurant ever! The flavours were astonishing! The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The ambience of the room was vibrant and comfortable. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good, home cooked food with exciting flavours.

We visited this bistro to celebrate a birthday. Overall our experience was very good and the food delicious. I had the ox cheek dish which was tender and tasty. However my husband could not eat the parsnips in his dish as they were hard and burnt, having been cut too thin and overcooked. He did complain that they were inedible, but had no feed back. Would recommend this restaurant, but don't order parsnips!

I really hope the belly pork on the festive menu is kept on next year's menu as I can't wait to go back and have it again. It was truly the best belly pork I've had in a long time and the crackling on top was superb! The restaurant is much longer than you would think from the outside as there is a big room at the back for large parties. We had a lovely work Christmas lunch here, the staff were fantastic, checking we were ok for drinks, the decor was lovely and the atmosphere was great. If you haven't been here before, I highly recommend you check Tristan's out, it's one of the best restaurants in Taunton. Speisekarte ansehen
