"It was our silver wedding Anniversary on tues 18th July and our daughter had organised a surprise family meal here, there was 13 of us all sat on a long table. Everyone else had pre-ordered their meals, mains and puddings, apart from me and the hubby. It wasn't busy as we were in a room of our own but we waited quite a while for the mains but it didn't disappoint everyone said the food was beautiful and a couple asked for the rest of theirs to take home, the staff were polite and helpful. The puddings were just as lovely and presentation was fantastic, the staff regularly asked us if we needed more drinks or anything else. The only down side was a sticky toffee was pre-ordered with custard, but they didn't have any custard, changed to icecream but if pre-ordered the custard should have been avaiable. A fantastic meal and would definitely recommend x"

"Excellent all round. Really nice restaurant. Good background music. And warm. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service and knowledgeable staff. And menu a bit different with some good variations from the norm. and recognised items as well) and they start serving earlier than some. Which was excellent for us. Highly recommended. Price per person: £20–30"

"evaluation of a happy zöliakie: cozy, popular caffe with very diverse selection of healthy foods and delicious milkshakes, cake bakers. veggie, vegan and gluten-free friendly! the place introduces itself a friendly, comfortable room that is revitalized by good talk, coffee and eating. get this a sofa for extra comfortable points! the menu does something for everyone. a large part of the menu offers Mediterranean dishes, including falafel, hummus, a diverse selection of fresh pulsating salads. meat lovers can enjoy burgers, bacon sausage sandwiches. a large part of the menu is naturally gluten-free and cross-contamination risk is managed carefully. the evaluation would go from 5 to 6 stars when the menu displayed the gf and GFO dishes: eating sundried tomaten cashew 'cream cheese' from the 'lite bites' section is simply beautiful. rich, dense, smooth bursting with pulsating tomato, garlic and cingy lemon flavor. I bought to share, then each errant spoon covered. the service homely, friendly. a little manic when busy, quirky and very charismatic. sit back, relax, enjoy the food and exchange sciences!"

"While on holiday in Cockermouth we came across The Coffee Kitchen Bakery... what a find! Lovely place, lovely owner and staff but most of all the bread and goodies are just to die for. They had a stall on the Food Festival Market as well which was lovely. We stocked up before we left for home. Thank you."

"our favorite restaurant. eating is fantastic. very tasteful and fillable. the personal is brilliant, always pleasant and welcoming, nothing is too much annoying. If you haven't been here yet, you should really, it's amazing. to avoid disappointment, I would recommend a reservation as they are busy."
