"Well well well, went out on a Friday evening. First night of the Euros, fine. Little did we know we’d walked in the lair of of Ben H, a bastion of fine customer service and purveyor of fine, fine wines. Alongside this Jacob (ohhhhh Jacob) saved my good friend Dan glasses as we were leaving and delivered them back to us. This is incredibly important as Dan has the eyesight of a star nosed mole. He’s effectively blind. 5 stars, 3 thumbs up as I’m sure you’re aware humans only have 2 thumbs, you do the maths. Exhilarating, compassionate, titillating. Will be coming back for more."

Great food, great staff, great beers, great atmosphere, great venue, so much to offer… and Ben especially, what a nice lad… saw him offering some other lovely customers a freebie take home because they were lovely ladies. Few good place.

The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly! Served by Hannah Kerris who were all smiles and very attentive. Bar staff also went out of their way to annotate the menu for my Nan who is dairy free. Will definitely be coming back! Speisekarte ansehen

People make pubs and the staff when we visited for a Saturday lunch were excellent. The service was quick and efficient yet we didn’t feel rushed as everyone made time for a chat, especially about the menu. Everything available was well priced and all the dishes we selected and enjoyed were well prepared and presented. A great place to visit and relax in clean tidy surroundings.

We went for lunch (kitchen opens at 12, no earlier), and they have a good garden for kids to run around in, baby changing facilities, and also crayons and lots of paper to colour in to occupy the kids. The sandwiches were sizable (5 inches high), and tasty, and about £38 for two sandwiches and two kids meals, so not unreasonable. The vegetarian salad sounded nice, but at £15 we gave it a miss
